It's so much easier to see a purple 5 ball than a purple 4. It's also wonderful that the 7 and the 3 are close to each other in the color spectrum. If they want to make the game even easier to follow, they could make the 8 ball green. Seriously, guys, make the 5 orange, the 4 purple and the 7 pink. It's not that hard.

I know this comment was from 2 months ago, but I agree with you and looked around to figure out why they use these other colors. The camera work is atrocious and breaking for an ad a moment before a shot is made is really annoying. Most people that watch pool matches are players themselves and want to see the shots; not close-ups of the balls or the players faces. The overhead view should be utilized 90% of the time. This guy saying Filler isn’t playing well is a joke. Also, many times the break does not determine the outcome of the game. For some reason great players and commentators parrot this over and over and ignore the many times the break is not the determining factor. “If his break is working!” If I don’t count heads during coin flips, tails look very appealing also!!! Players spend all their time trying to perfect a coin toss. Top shelf play, I’ve won as many hill hill matches when my opponent broke.
@escalehope14462 жыл бұрын
At pro level, if you break and you're on the 1 ball, 70% of the time it's a run out. So... Yeah, finding your break basically does 70% of the job. Of course there is the mental aspect, but it's not your average match at the club...
@6mdm2 жыл бұрын
@@escalehope1446 this stat is skewed because of constant obsession with “ if my break is working” or “if I find my spot” Unfortunately WE DON’T GET TO KEEP ONLY THE TIMES WE GET ON THE ONE AND MAKE A BALL. We must also note our scratches, our weird hooks, our miss-hits. Having played top shelf pool with the “pro level” players I have zero concern If Its hill/hill and my opponent breaking unless they are cheating the rack. Recent match room matches seem to favor the breaker with a template and winner break. I can’t tell you how often a top player told me the break is everything. Then I say $100 per rack, you break and run. Most won’t take the bet.

Not crazy about her bridge. Or lack there of. That whole open bridge thing,...where the shaft just lays between the first and second knuckle with zero stabilization. When she misses you'll notice the tip digging into the felt and bounces all over the place. Meaning,.....there's no control there. She truly needs to put the first finger around the shaft or move it between the thumb and first knuckle. Her lack of a bridge and stroke is definitely the reason for most of her misses.Good player. Just fundamentally flawed in the bridge department.
