Wow, I have never even heard of this city, thanks so much for bringing us along! Morocco as a whole looks super breathtaking and you guys are capturing it all from the history to the ambience down to the flavors of its cuisine, impeccable vlogging! The most beautiful city I've ever visited was Kyoto in the spring, Paris in the fall, and Munich/Venice in the winter. And summer has to be spent by the beach of course, not in the city 🏖😂

There are many sayings about the blue color of the city, but the real and fundamental reason, which is not hidden from historians, is that this city was founded in 1471 and 43k people took part in its foundation, many of them were Jews. The Jews had a culture among them that they marked their doors blue so that they could identify each other for religious events. Most of the city's Jewish population moved to occupied Palestine after World War II, but left behind the legacy of the blue buildings

Bissara is supposed to be thicker and should be eaten with bread and raw onion. I keep adding extra olive oil and love having a side of mixed spicy olives with it

Exactly, much thicker and with spring onion! Btw never knew they eat this in the morning, I am Moroccan myself (born and raised in the Netherlands) and never seen anyone eat this for breakfast in my whoke 39 years! I saw it a few times on YT so maybe it's something 'new' from the past few years or just not common fir breakfast in my region...

@@uzinine7760 ah ook een Nederlander. Van huis uit heb ik nooit bissara met rode ui gegeten alrijd met bosui...🤷‍♀️ Marokko is groot en iedereen maakt dingen net iets anders. Khlee bvb is iets wat ik nog nooit in mijn leven heb gegeten, is niet iets wat bij ons voorkomt. Mijn moeder heeft het 1 keer in haar leven gegeten als kindzijnde en een keer toen ze op bezoek was bij een vriendin. Ik had er zelf nooit van gehoord tot een paar jaren geleden ik een YT programma aan het kijken was van chefkok Zimmerman (programma heette bizarre foods als ik me niet vergis). Dus ik meteen aan mijn moeder gevraagd en zij vertelde bovenstaande. Ben sowieso niet echt een vleeseter vindt sucuk al niet lekker dus denk dat khlee ook niet mijn ding is. 😅
