Prince had the voice!!!!! I was lucky enough to see him live 4 times and blimey that man could sing so beautifully. I can't describe how much he still means to me... It's only in the last few weeks I've been able to listen to his music again after he left us... Too painful before then. Always in my heart 💖💖💖

👑G.O.A.T.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜There are waaaaay to many hidden gems ( can you believe that with all the amazing songs he’s written ) that I love it would be impossible for me to mention because I would stress on the ones I didn’t mention. Prince’s catalogue is a treasure all it’s own. But I wish people would discover his incredible music beyond the 80’s because his creativity and individuality and passion was still inspiring.

Love Prince. Got to see him live in London twice 1990 & 2007. Love this song. Two others I feel don't get enough recognition are Scandalous from the Batman ost that Prince done and Do me baby from the album Controversy.

This was a great performance. I have memories of my mother singing this while she did the dishes when I was young. I prefer the album version, but he added so much to this performance it sounded amazing.

I love Prince and his younger years where he was wild and a little bit nasty purple rain era still a little bit nasty then he matured. He dressed not a frilly as he used too. But more manly and his vocal range was out of bounds they said he had all of them .Alto soprano whatever they are they say he had them all. His talent just flawless. He gave so much I'm so glad that I was able to live in the same area to enjoy what he gave . New subscriber because you love Prince too

I've always loved all things Prince, and the day that we loss him was one of my saddest ever. I have too many favorites to list, though this one is among them. As far as less mainstream favorites go, one of mine is Joy In Repetition.

In my top ten of Prince's best songs. But I identify it so much with the unique 80's sound and arrangements that I can hardly appreciate further interpretations. The whole Purple rain album is such a special album to me.

Prince never needed more money, he done everything for the love of the music , he was a incredible business man who definitely knew his worth and hustled for his off the industry like a true gangster in ways that no modern rapper today has the balls to do... he was a special one in a life time guy, nothing an no one before or after can say they can do what prince wad able to do musically creatively and businesses all in a very foward progressive in ways that was always ahead if his peers ... to me he is the goat who stands alone in his purple castle and outside his window is where the other goats chill ..

sound is good, new sub here, I like music like this without electronics, playback and love it aspecailly with a gifted voice, would love see you doing a reaction video to Whitney, She was the pinacle of vocal realness and even better live than on record, perhaps a video of her better live vocals kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZTHdnuVqbmpq8k however much you choose, or a sort of hidden gem kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGmXin6XaLxmask (from a benefit concert for the once imprisoned Nelson Mandela in 1988)

Nice reaction. But let's get 1 thing clear,he wanted people to learn music the right way. He taught himself to play 27 instruments. He knew what it took to learn. You said it yourself that you were learning how to play piano. I'm speaking from an musician standpoint. Peace And Be Wild. The Purple Yoda Lives On 🤘🏼💜

About what you said he missed outbox the opportunity to tease people playing instruments with some game, just try to think what he would have answered to that. It would probably have been something like: you don’t need a game. You need to do it how he got to learn it. Just do. And do it endlessly over and over.

Loved your reaction... Now when you say you think this is Princes best song then it of course is a matter of what you are judging by. Definitely one of my favorite Prince songs as far as vocal performance and does a great job of conveying the intended emotion. But let’s not get it twisted my man... This is definitely not the best live performance of this song by a long shot. 😉 Unfortunately you probably won’t find many better on KZbin, but we all know the reason behind that. lol 😂🤣😂
