We truly enjoyed visiting Orvieto and seeing the wonderful Cathedral. The gothic facade is a true testament to the talented artists and craftsman that worked on it. The paintings of purgatory and hell inside the Cathedral are beautiful plus I love the fact that the church is still being used for services. Thanks for the great comments Noe Berengena! Liked #50. This cathedral looks very similar to the one in Florence, Santa Croce. But this one has more ornate decorations around the edges! Very beautiful figure carvings and details!!! The town itself also reminds me of Florence but without the mass of tourists! Looks like my kind of town! Very beautiful, small but had lot to offer! Splendid video, very good editing and pacing. I visited Orvieto when I was a teenager. I only really remember the cathedral which is astonishing and I think you have done a great job of showing how amazing and ornate it is. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍

Italy is one of those places that I have not had the pleasure to visit...there was a cruise planned to the area for the spring of 2021, but has had to be put on hold at present...new sub so I can follow your adventures and dropping in from Nova Scotia, Canada, where you will find me hiking locally on my channel until international travel is an option once again...take great care now and enjoy the week...
