First you need to reach to Suryabinayak Chowk Bhaktapur. If you are coming from Kathmandu, you can take local bus to Suryabinayak Bhaktapur via Araniko Highway. From Ratna Park Bus Park, it is of 15km distance. Or, if you are from Banepa - Dhulikhel side, you can take local bus and have to travel about 12 to 15km to reach to Suryabinayak Bhaktapur. About Pilot Baba Ashram | Pilot Baba Bhaktapur:
The place name is actually given to a person name called Pilot Baba (a Hindu Devotee). His original name is Kapil Advait. He worked as Fighter Pilot in the Indian Air force. Now he is known to be Indian Spritual Guru. He built Ashram, Meditation Centre in different states of India and this Pilot Baba Ashram is the only in Nepal situated at Suryabinayak Danda. As per the other devotee around the Ashram, he visits here in Pilot Baba Ashram twice a year during Shivaratri and Guru Poornima.
This Pilot Baba Ashram at Suryabinayak, near Kathmandu was established in 2070B.S (2013A.D). The location is on the top of Suryabinayak Jungle. Another popular place around Pilot Baba Bhaktapur is Suryabinayk Ganesh Temple. Besides these all, this place is rich with Natural aspects like natural beauty, scene and peaceful yet refreshing and pleasant environment. Many people around the country visit this place daily.
