That is the most impressive van build I've seen yet. Goodness! A built-in wood burning stove, beautiful woodwork, and a very nice kitchen set up; no doubt about; I am quite a fan of this build.

I love what you've done to make your van look like a wonderful cozy cottage on the inside. Dan Slotea - Hi! I have saved quite a few now, but my top faves so far besides this one I'm going to say are 2 from The Indie Projects: They showed us their epic van and Two girls in a Tintop Self built BW T4 Campervan, and last but definitely not least is a channel called Diary of a Van man. This man has 2 van builds that are amazing. The second of which he is still working on and may have finished by now. His first was absolutely beautiful, but the van shot craps and he had to scrap it. Such a shame! Definitely check out his channel. Very neat guy doing a really nice job with his build! Good luck to you! I'm going to be doing the same but I think I will start out with a Travel trailer until I am sure of how and what I will need to be comfortable. I plan to live in mine full time. If I do a van build, it will be something more simple and there is a young woman with a channel called Road to Recah. She has a beautiful yet very simple van that I just love. I will add one more to the list, however this one is a short bus build by a really neat lady named Masyn Moyer. If a bus wasn't so large and expensive to drive, I would consider doing just what she did. Her home on wheels is one of the coziest I've seen yet! Enjoy!!!

Hi Girls! What a nice Guy you met there. Matt did a beautiful job on the conversion. The key is having a van you can stand up in. Even though I'm 5'3",I'd need one I could stand up in as well. Loved all the repurposed pallet wood and esp. the wood burner. If I had a go at it, I'd mirror mine after Matt's. No shower other than the small pump shower, but that is a guy for you,lol. I'd have some sort of out door shower as well, only a larger container for H2O. There is always the 24 hr. Gyms (here in the US), public showers in camp grounds, and lets be real, living in a van,I think you can go a day or two with out a shower. There is always washing up at the sink in between. I really want to do this, but I'm tied to a mortgage that I'm up side down on, so unless the market goes thru the roof I'm stuck paying a mortgage until I'm old and grey. I would still love to have a van, for holidays, and I have a proper woodworking shop in my back yard to build whatever I need. Well, I have rambled on enough. CrossGrain Wood Products,LTD Most houses will fetch a higher rent than the mortgage cost. If you are somewhere touristy you should check the saturation level of similar places on airBnB, you might be able to rent the place out for a week for the same income as you would get per month on a normal rental...... Maybe you can get out and about in a van.... good luck.

Great video..I love your outlook on "it's your home in the country" Do you have many problems finding places to park up in Dartmoor? I live in Dorset and it's become so restricted sadly over the years on where you can stay the night..sad .I am old enough to remember such freedom of the past. Parking almost any where for days on end..I'm thinking of getting back into "vanlife" I still love the idea of exploring europe with your little home on wheels..

I love your van build. It is by far my favorite. We are in the process of buying a 2009 E350 with a raised roof. There is a warehouse here that is remodeling and has a bunch of old pallets sitting outside guess who is going to ask if we can have them. Thanks for sharing your info.

Thanks Matt. Love this. Im not quite there yet, I hope to meet you on my travels. Im London Born and Bread with similar aspirations to you. need to break from the rat race. My MWB Sprinter is going through the motions of a build. The biggest hold up is the electrical system. Got all the bits now just need to knuckle down once my furniture's all done. I didn't plan my design very well had to change some initial ideas, as you do. but yeah, thanks for sharing, You've broadened my view on the electrical system. Cheers!
