Well I flew my BO-105 outdoors in 3 mph wind yesterday after I Maxed the Headspeed. It held Amazingly In Place. Very little Drift with Fuselage pointed Into wind. Optical Flow actually worked over 3” long grass and Black Rubber spongy Turf. Enough differentiation visually for it to lock on. I was pretty surprised and pleased! 🎉😅

Also flew my new C123 Police Chopper. Didn’t change the Headspeed. It did well also holding up to 4-6 mph. As long as body pointed into Wind. 😊

I thought it was the opposite, that the optical flow would HELP to make the heli more stable. What is the optical flow for then? Thanks!

My Bo-105 flew like yours out of the box and it came without the optical flow sensor. Then I lowered the head speed and now it flies much better ... I have made a video on how to lower the head speed on these micro helicopters with the stock transmitter. I think you should try that and see if it helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raq2g4OVZqdqrZo

@@hakimikimi4558 Yeah, is not 3D, they were selling it as a 3D, the AD said "6CH - 3D rolling for fun". But I don't regret it at all, still awesome for the price I've paid, there is no better scale rc model, not even close, unless you like better the C187, but doesn't fly so good and the price is the same really

If you use diagonal cyclic, you can fly into a 5mph headwind. You can also go faster in ground effect.
