Received mine from RC Going about a week ago. Flown it 4 times already. Love it!!!! Amazing scale heli!!!! Couple of little hints for a new buyer of this helicopter: Rig up a tail rotor ground protection guard out of some bent heavy gauge wire similar to clothes hanger wire because the stock setup allows the bottom reach of the blade to go a little beyond the protection of the tail fin. Also make sure the blades are tight enough that you can hold the heli sideways and given a light tap on one side so as to spin the main rotor around without moving either blade from they're straight out position.

I bought that exact same helicopter , it’s amazing , easy to fly and very scale. I did have 1 issue and that was calibration. I had to look up video on how to calibrate it using my computer , it was easy and only took about 5 min . Other than that , it is as advertised and you hit it in the nail when it comes abrupt stop , they should improve that . This heli will get more scale flyers up and flying with minimal annoyance and 100 percent fun . Great review

Had my first quick test flight today with this heli, ive been waiting for something like this for years after having more crash time than fly time on a 'old school' 3D heli 15 years back. Brian, great work on the channel and thank you.

You hit the nail on the head about buy RC Heli's or lose them, because most folks I know quit RC Heli's because of the costs associated with the learning curve crashes and associated down time, they simply said the can not afford the hobby based on that steep learning curve.

10000000% - we need more interest to get people flying them! I am slightly worried, that people may make the "leap" too early to a "ReaL" RC heli, but then it's on them...but for now, so long as we can turn off the aids, I love these helis!!!

I can confirm on full size real helicopters that there is a area of strong vibration when spooling up from idle to 100 percent flight RPM. On the Sweitzer 269 I trained on My instructor had it marked on the gauge and always said not to let the RPMs sit in that area and to just pass thru it. All of the Two bladed model helicopters I had in the past do the same. So its normal lol

@BrianPhillipsRC6 ай бұрын
I just do it for drop dead voltage on a heli, but to be frank, this heli will land at ~ 3.6-3.7 VDC anyway, so unless I were to "cancel" the Return to Home feature, she would be on the ground WELL before the alarm sounded. I also like to have this JUST in case there's a SAGGY CELL...sometimes this will cause issues on lower cell count flight packs, like 2S or 3S, but with 4S and 6S packs, one cell sagging usually doesn't cause a complete failure, but it can ;) My "rule of thumb" is that 3.3VDC for PROP planes, and 3.6VDC for EDF's
