For the life of your machine and best results, always use an espresso coffee, it’s finer than regular coffee.

IMPORTANT: This machine has a pressurized basket so using espresso grounds is optional and just for taste. The basket generates its own pressure.

@@Hbaby727 Do you grind your own espresso beans? You might need to adjust the grind size. It might be to fine which is why it is not extracting well.

Honestly, you need to do this properly if you're going to demonstrate the machine. You should be using espresso grind, which is much finer then the regular coffee grind that you are using. You also definitely tamp harder than that as well. Not going to knock you on the scoop since I doubt the machine tells you the appropriate amount of grams to put in the portafilter. Normally it's 18g, but I have no idea how much will fit in that portafilter. These are great machines if you're just getting into espresso and it always irks me when people that review them don't review it properly.
