in my first years of school i was small and ginger and i have glasses that ive always felt insecure about. i was never really bullied but i took note from the media all around me, influencing me into believing that i had to be tall and skinny and blonde with perfect eyesight to BE perfect. i sometimes feel so shit about my body and the way it is. that im not skinny enough even though I am, that my glasses make me unattractive and that my ginger hair wasnt right so i changed the colour to purple. that will make people like me right? i turned to self harm just because i felt like i wasnt enough, like i had to have scars on my wrist to prove to myself that i am still here and surviving. and because of the media i am still suffering with depression and anxiety and body dysmorphia and shitty eating habits all to make me feel good? it doesnt feel good. i hate this world
