9:41 One of the best parts of riding my motorcycle through nature is being surrounded by all these scents. It’s almost like this secret conversation between me and Mother Nature. Absolutely love it. And it's best experienced with a loved one.

That’s a great way to put it! It’s definitely a new form of meditation for me

Its so cool to see this become zen for you. that point when it had clicked for me and I could focus on the ride moreso than the mechanics of riding is when this hobby became therapy for me. I look forward to seeing that backlog of videos!

It’s crazy how meditative it can be…this is something I never thought about before I started riding. I am being pleasantly surprised always🏍 And thank you!

11 minutes in and i love it so far, I just turned 14 and I'm trying to learn all the motorcycle stuff and learn from other female riders and other stuff. Keep up the good work, much love! ❣️

Aw thank you so much! 💜 that’s awesome that you are learning about it so early! When I was 14 I never thought that far ahead lol😂 good luck to you! thanks for the kind words

Good Stuff. Nice friggin scenery! Good editing, as always. Kudos. Oh, hey, remember to tap your brake lights when engine braking. and, yeah, new pavement can be slick, especially when wet if it's very new, the oil parts haven't settled in and the surface is similar to oil on the roadway. Rainbows on the road are usually very slick, so watch for them. Especially near traffic lights, where leaky old cars sit a minute and leave their mark.

THANKS SM💜 Good tips!! I have a brake-free on my helmet too so that helps as well😊

I had a neighbor a few years ago that wanted to start riding, he had many fears and finally just quit riding and sold his bike. At 4:38 and then at 12:42 were 2 of his fears.. Tar snakes(thats what he called them) he always thought they are going to be slippery and the other was train tracks crossing the road diagonally...I would tell him wet or dry just try not to break hard on either and No Whisky Throttling you will be fine.. funny how your video brought all those memories back. He said his wife wanted him to sell the bike.. it sounds more rational than "Tar Snakes" 😊 I enjoyed your video

well... in europe train tracks in cities are everywhere often you ride between them because they go along the roads across bridges etc

LOL. it’s funny the things that seem so scary at first..I was afraid to go down this little “steep” hill by our place for the longest time 😂 But yeah just avoiding any acceleration/deceleration is really the key to dealing with all the crazy road conditions 😬 THANKS ERIC🤘🏻

Awesome we just got back from a Socal coast line ride, the views, the smells, the cows lol. Amazing progress, congratulations! Looking forward to more content. 🤙

We are thinking of moving to southern Wisconsin. Much nicer than Chicago! I love your videos.. as far as advancement goes. Just take it easy. Freeways..I hate them. But use then occasionally. Mostly I use smaller roads..
@gaabbiio26 күн бұрын
That would be exciting!! Thank you so much :) and agreed, smaller roads are far better

Still love watching your videos, regardless of the gap in your schedule or the "lack of progression". I guess since I've been riding for decades, it's nice to experience your new riding wonder vicariously. Question: any plans for Nick to get his own bike to ride with y'all instead of following along in the car?
@gaabbiioАй бұрын
Aw thank you! That is nice to hear, there is definitely a lot of wonder to be had lol. And yeah, someday we will each have our own bikes! He really wants the f800 gs😊 we are just waiting till the time (and money) is right hahah for now we are stuck with our goofy convoy 😅

I am a "scooter" nut look at the yamaha majesty 400 or Burgman 400. Easily the most comfortable bikes ever. I personally have a yamaha 250 scooter. Super nice bike

I totally agree with you about the slow down in progress. After the first couple thousand miles, I could tell that there was a big drop off. I was still progressing, it was just in smaller increments. I suppose the biggest progression I made after the initial wave was realizing that my preload was set all the way down by the previous owner, and was seriously hampering my bike's cornering performance. That made a giant difference, and I got another small wave of progress after I fixed that. Aside from that, it's been a bunch of little things. I still haven't been on any group rides, so I guess I need to take that plunge next, but I don't know anyone close to me who rides well enough for that yet. BTW, another killer thumbnail.
@gaabbiioАй бұрын
Yeah exactly! It’s like the progress is less visible to others, but I still feel like I am getting so much more comfortable. I still have plenty to learn for sure! And that’s good to know about the preload, it’s definitely important to make sure bikes are set up for your weight/geometry since you are such an important part of the performance! I personally have no desire to go on big group rides, at least not yet. I think starting with 1-2 people that you trust is the perfect “group”…but that may be my introvert-self talking 😂 Thanks operator! Keep up the practice 🤘🏻 hope you have a good week!
