How in heavens name did I miss this video, I know I was traveling August 2021. this popped up in my feed - I’m going through the comments now and I agree Don McLean song is mesmerizing. Now I need to take a moment, sit down, go through the tutorial and learn this song ! This is another one of my favorite songs during formative years! my generation was very lucky to have songs like this, and Don McLean - just him, his voice, the inspired music and lyrics and the guitar !

Oh Lisa, I keep saying about your tutorials- "This is my favorite, no, this is, no maybe this is..." My favorites never end with your wonderful lessons. This one is probably your best on all levels- the interpretation, simple, clear explanations, the fascinating history nerd bit, the slides and backgrounds- oh and we can't forget the appropriate floral top you are donning. I'm surprised you didn't hand paint yellow halos around the flowers in empathy for Vincent's malady. You went beyond putting your heart and soul into this one- I imagine some blood, sweat and tears went in as well. Were you seeing stars after? Geez! How many hours, weeks did you invest? It's a work of art in itself. Thanks so much. PS I saw the film -I agree - incredible!

Beautiful lesson, Lisa. I am trying to play it exactly as you teach it because the suggestions just make it sound so lovely. The Vincent Van Gogh Immersive Experience was in Zurich just before last Christmas and some friends and I went. If you can get to see it, it is just fantastic. It went to London from Zurich, but I think it is also opening in New York (if it hasn’t already). The musical accompaniments to the pictures shown were just out of this world. I didn’t want to leave and could have sat there all day! Truly a wonderful experience. Now back to the practice.

Dhriti - This is great if you want to use it yourself, but don't post it in the comments. I do count on the support of patrons to pay the mortgage and keep my heat on. Part of what patrons get is my chord charts. When you do this, it feels like you don't think I should get paid for the work I do? Maybe I misinterpret this?
