I've lived on Vancouver Island my whole life and It's so weird reading these comments. Especially the ones about the starfish! I can't imagine having not seen these things... playing around in tidal pools was basically my whole childhood. I guess we take these things for granted a little bit when we see them all the time. Nice video :)

What a lovely trip you had! I always enjoy that area but it has been too long since I've been there. We enjoy some similar surroundings as I see in your video but that's far more dramatic and breath-taking. You lead a rock-out life, girl, and I know you work hard for it. Best to you!

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. It's beautiful to walk thru Cathedral Grove and old growth forests, but then picture yourself walking thru miles of clear cuts. All the more worth protecting, wouldn't you say? Once it's gone, it's gone.

Nice, I grew up in Powell River shown at the beginning of this video, now live in Victoria for many years. The island so large I still haven't explored it all yet and cant wait to see more of it's amazing treasures. Thanks for the great video

live on Vancouver island and its a really nice place, I live in the mountains, one problem is that it is clear cut central here from all the logging, although ti opens up places so you can see things otherwise the trees would restrict all view. its a good thing and a bad thing. this place can sometimes be like an arid parched and hilly landscape and also be a deep forest of creeks and ravines. very cool place.
