What an incredibly beautiful place. However, I was amazed that there are no trees on the islands. Quaint little villages and gorgeous scenery.

Due to the wild weather, they have planted some in populated areas but nothing indigenous.

Wonderful fjords and lakes and waterfalls, but I suppose it won't get warm enough for a swim! You both bundled up for the cold, but of course it is early May in the film. Beautiful place, some points look a bit like Iceland it seems. Looking forward to the grass cottage!

Quick question - how do they heat the houses? No trees so coal? turf? Most have chimneys though electric would probably be likely. Lol told myself not to be lazy and checked it out and it totally makes sense - "Since 2008 the usage of ground source heat pumps has increased on the islands and today over 1000 ground source heat pumps utilizing shallow geothermal heat are operating and producing energy for the Faroese homes." The blue water so clear and beautiful, I love these remote beautiful islands. Thanks again =-).

You can just imagine Viking ships hiding in that deep gorge harbor. I loved the tale of the Giant and the Witch. Such beings from ancient folklore were rarely limited by morality, lol. The footprint of mankind in on these islands is so different than most places...just a single road (quite well maintained, I must say) to each tiny village. That waterfall is magical! I loved how you gave us distance views to understand the scale, and then terrific close ups. I could feel the spray! Your suppers looked fantastic! We had breakfasts like that on our trip to Germany. They were tasty, but as a Southern California native, I was often frustrated by the lack of fresh fruit, even in June. You must use a drone for some of your most dramatic shots; do you ever have problems taking it along when you fly to your destination? I'm excited about this next boat ride! Cheers 'til next week. :)

The meal looked wonderful, but I wonder how much it would cost in Cornwall, say - at a famous eatery ? I imagine the people being very independent & hardy - I don't think I could survive without trees - but is probably even more dramatic live! Thanks for being so Adventurous!

If you're attempting to make a professional video about a country, out of respect, you really need to make sure you're pronouncing the place names correctly. Gjogv was not even remotely correctly pronounced at all.
