The coleus (was) flowering. They say to pinch off flowering stalks to keep the plant alive. However, I am not sure if it is best to pinch them off right away, or let them grow some, or let the flowers start to bloom first because it seems like pinching off the flower stalks, can stunt the growth of the plant. Maybe it is best to pinch off a node or two below the flowering stalk, instead of at the base right above the last non-flowering node.
