Have you tried separating your Locs. Like do a half up half down part, pull the top section up with shoelace and the bottom half up with a shoelace and then pull them together

Is it better to start your locs off with coils or two strand twist?

Either or hun it doesn't really matter. I started my locs (I've since cut them off) a few years ago using the faux locs ( with extensions method) and they came out beautifully. Start them however you feel just remember to get a loctician or someone who knows how the process goes. Consider what parting system you want and how thick you want them. You can of course start them on your own. Patience is key. ❤

They are thick,I'm loving the process so far,I finally found someone that does them great,and who can instantly loc as well. So we shall see how my journey goes. I appreciate your feedback.🥰💯❤
