I totally agree with what you said about social media and getting caught up with trends etc. I must say that I do enjoy your vlogs and hope that whatever you do you will be true to yourself and to us who are watching. You don't have to do what everyone else is doing especially now that you have your other job back. Just do what you love and enjoy and who knows where that will take you.❤

Yeah, it's hard not to when you see it everywhere since, as humans, we want to be part of the group, so it's like we need to do it to “fit in.” I will; I know what it is, but I shied away from it (imposter syndrome 😒).

I really enjoy your cooking content, and like outfit hauls/styling. Aside from that, and amongst the other channels I still really watch that fall into the “vlog lifestyle” category, I’ll say the ones I enjoy most are just showing us their regular day to day activities. Interacting with the viewer and ‘bringing us along’ like we’re just a passenger in the car or a friend sitting in an armchair across the room. Even something as simple as watching someone organize their closet can be enjoyable in that sense lol (I’m a plant person and regularly will watch someone water their plants and trim old leaves in a vlog, for like hours. No joke) But I feel like those are the most organic, least forced, least contrived, and most enjoyable vlogs and channels to me. I’m not really into the whole aesthetic of social media these days, where literally the ‘influencers’ like, do, and look the same, so I say just continuing to serve us content featuring YOU as you normally are would be great 😊❤

Love your content! You are an inspiration to me. I totally understand you with the vlogs. I only Vlog when I know I will be doing something that day or week. I feel it’s more interesting to watch. So sometimes I will go a week or two before I post another one because I am mostly doing the same thing over and over. I would like to do sit downs but have not added that to my rotation yet. I loooovvvveeee how you film!!! The angles and transitions are beautifully done! You are sooo gorgeous! I love your vibe and will continue to suppose no matter what direction you take. Again great content Syndie!! I’m glad you put a vlog out this week but I’m also glad your slightly going against the grain with how you vlog and being more intentional when it comes to how you go about creating content. It’s refreshing how your being true to yourself and not getting caught up with the norm on social media. I applaud you for wanting to do other hobbies and pretty much connecting with yourself without needing to vlog. Your in a whole new state getting to know yourself and finding what works for and what doesn’t . Going back to your other career was a good choice which btw it has inspired me to want to learn more about it😉. But again great vlog and looking forward to the next one. Enjoy your weekend!😊

Wow! That was such a beautiful comment. Thank you for that. I'm always looking introspectively (something I've picked up from therapy), which helps me stay connected to myself because, being on social media so much, sometimes you can forget who you are. About work, I did record a day in the life explaining more about work; however, I won't be uploading that for several reasons (I explained in another vlog). But maybe another time. 🤍

Not everything you do in real life is a “storyline” if that makes sense. I love the random “normalcy” of some of your vlogs. It doesn’t feel forced. That was one thing I liked about you. But I support whatever angle you take ❤
@BeautifullySyndie2 жыл бұрын
Firstly, thank you so much. I appreciate that I'll have your continued support. I agree with not everything having a storyline, but lately, there isn't much going on to do weekly vlogs, so either I do more intentionally or vlogs that span longer than a week. Ultimately, I won't stop vlogging altogether, just less or no more weekly vlogs. I'm still working through that. 🤍

I miss when people were truthful to themselves. Everyone has become so boring because they’re all just trying to sell us something through sponsorships (and I just tend to skip the whole thing coz it’s everyone rambling about some product that’s not even good or interesting and we won’t even buy it). I just want to see people enjoying being different and being themselves. So I hope it gets better.

Becareful whitening your teeth. That pain sensitive you speak off is not really good. These things weaken your teeth. Just try drinking with straws. Anything that stains try to use a straw.

I say definitely listen to your gut and put out what truly resonates with you and that you are mostly passionate about. I was having a similar conversation with my sister @lovelariexo about how much I miss the old YT format where everyone just did them, the rawness and uniqueness that it seemed everyone provided. Now, even down to pieces in individuals homes, things are replicated and trendy as opposed to being original. Excuse my rant y’all…. I miss the old format and algorithm 😂
@beauty_daze34552 жыл бұрын
Don’t apologize for what you miss. I think what’s funny is that the “aesthetic “ things that “the gworls “ are into now, I did in my past and I still do it now but was always told that I thought I was “better “ than everyone else. The difference was I was being my authentic self. Don’t get me wrong , I’m all for people elevating but when it becomes a copy cat trend it looks so disingenuous. I agree with you that people should do what they’re passionate about and everyone is not passionate about coffee lol .
