I would never want you to feel unwell, of course, but if I woke up looking like your "before" face - I am pretty sure it would be the best day of my life. You are a beauty - it radiates from within - the polish and paint is icing on the cake. XO

@specialbethx I'm really incredibly passionate about make-up and have lived and breathed it as a career for over 20 years. I've also built up a lot of experience and expertise during that period and enjoy sharing it here. I know you said in your comment that you are "really tempted to look elsewhere" so can I suggest, in the nicest possible way, that you do just that. There are plenty or 'gurus' and so called MUA's on here that you may prefer X

I don't know how anyone can say you have a boring voice! You are the most articulate make up artist that I have found so far on YT. You are charming with the most soothing and lovely voice-- it just elevates everything. I love how you describe things-- your presentation is poetry.
@JadeLeaf19808 жыл бұрын
Unlike every KZbin "guru" who uses the "excuse my face/voice I'm so sick" faff, you can actually see Lisa is ill by her watery eyes, you can hear it in her voice. I find Lisa the most genuine out of almost all KZbin beauty gurus (other than the pixiwoo sisters). It's nice to see someone who doesn't take duck lipped filtered photos of every end look.
@slythprincess8 жыл бұрын
I agree! Your forgot gossmakup though! I feel people nowadays think good makeup is drag makeup. They forget about commercial, bridal, runway, and editorial styles.

Because lisa is a true make up artist and connoisseur, she is very knowledgeable, long experience on red carpet and celebrities make up application, and has excellent credentials. She is an expert in her field and just happens to be generous enough to make youtube videos to share her extensive knowledge with us. We are truly blessed to know her, she doesn't just make videos for views, she makes videos to educate us about make up. You can't really compare her with KZbin "gurus" because it is like comparing a student with a professor. And youtube gurus usually tend to follow fads, best to treat them as an entertainment source and not knowledge source.
@AuntieFa7 жыл бұрын
Please stop calling Lisa a "KZbin Beauty Guru" or comparing her to them, Lisa is NOT a KZbinr. She is an industry professional, a genuine makeup artist who has had a long career in the business and is generous and gracious enough to make time out of her busy schedule to make these videos to share with us. She is NOTHING like KZbin beauty gurus.

Gosh, I love how you're not ashamed to show a complete transformation. Most already start with foundation and concealer to cover up and imperfections so others cannot see them. I wish I could achieve that glow, that dewy appearance to my skin. I just can't seem to find the right combination. This is such a beautiful and timeless look. Thank you for sharing!

@specialbethx I see you are a new subscriber so welcome! Sorry to hear you find my voice so boring. I just want to share with you what I'm doing here, I pride myself on being the only professional make-up artist on here uploading regularly who is successful in the real (non YT) world. Working with A-list celebrities & doing magazine covers etc day in day out as part of my full time job (see my website for details). I'm also the only one who doesn't make any money from it and doesnt sell ad's...

@dianabananapixie the serum one is dewier and creamier so better for normal/dehydrated/dry skin. Whereas the original healthy mix has a more velvet/matte finish and a less creamy feel so better for oilier skins. You could use both for combination skin but would need powder with the serum type x
