I was OVERJOYED when you sneak-peeked this in your "Confidence Boosting" video because this is exactly what I need. I'd wear makeup much more often if I could, but on the rare occasions when I actually do have the opportunity, it's specifically for a no-makeup makeup look. I've already had to do pinpointing techniques with tiny brushes myself, and it's more difficult to get a light enough application of cream stick or liquid concealer. This is going to save me so much effort, I won't have fussy little brushes to clean, I won't have to waste any extra product, etc. And one thin pencil cuts down on items to pack. The fact that it's self setting, waterproof, sweat proof, and long wearing is everything because I need it to last all day, and I don't even need to powder, which will make it look more seamless. You've truly created a perfect product for me. You bet I ordered it immediately as soon as Emerald access opened up!

She could have demonstrated how good the concealer is by covering her mole - as she has no major skin issues (honestly, the before and after wasn't impactful, as she has lovely skin and nothing to cover in the first place). I'd imagine if you have decent skin then this pencil would last a while, making the price tolerable but if you have active acne and persistent hyper-pigmentation etc. this product would not last more than two weeks with daily use . Even on the models in the video with "skin issues", she was using quite a bit of product and going over spots multiple times. I don't doubt the quality/care and research that has been put into this product though.

When you launched this my heart leapt as this was the exact type of concealer I needed. I was lucky to have been blessed with nice skin and I took it for granted until the menopause hit. I could get away with a tinted spf and that’s all I needed. Now I have eye bags, broken capillaries,age spots and sometimes still get spots. Was feeling very uncomfortable with the way I looked as I’m now in my 60th year. I stood for almost 2 hours in the rain today at the pop up waiting to meet you and your new concealer. Since the menopause hit, I've not had a spot, a red mark or any kind of blemish. I guess that been one thing in its favour, so a concealer of this kind wouldn't really be useful to me. A proper creamy concealer for the under eyes would most definitely be one for me too.

Because that seems to be what's happened with my skin in the last 12 months, although I'm still in peri-meno...enough other peri-related stuff is going on to make me think I might be on the downhill slope to the full ~pause~ part of it all. And yeah, my undereye bags are kinda scary these days. Having said all that - this concealer pencil is going to really help cover scarring/pigmentation (see below), and I can't wait to try it on the areas of melasma I have. I really wish I'd discovered Lisa's pinpoint technique years ago, as I spent a good chunk of the last 20 years with adult acne after having relatively blemish-free teenage years (I'm 55). It was bad enough that my mom bought Pro-Activ products for me for years and years...and she rarely did anything nice just to be nice, so that told me it was something important to her. I only found out at her memorial service that she'd had bad acne as a young teenager when I saw her 7th grade school photo on the memory board my aunt and grandmother had made, and the realization that she'd had my grandmother hide the picture her entire life - even from me - was like a gut punch. Sorry for that ramble...but Lisa's emotional story about why and how she developed her pinpoint concealer technique made me a bit sniffly, and made me think of my mom and her skin issues, and me and mine.

Shout out to your customer service team!!! I wasn’t sure which shade to use because the suggestions on the site are different for me between the tint shade and foundation shade I use I emailed support and within minutes - LITERALLY MINUTES - I heard back with a request for selfies and what I wanted to achieve. I sent selfies and let them know about my redness and prominent eye veins and again within actual minutes I had a reply with not only recommendations but the logic behind their suggestions, swatches on real skin in real light to compare, and tips on how to use them to achieve the goals I mentioned. I’ve been doing this for years. I take my Nars potted concealer and put it in an old cleaned out retractable eyeliner casing. Why are influencers acting like this is some crazy new thing? In the 80’s-90’s they sold concealers in retractable eyeliner casings. I can’t stand how influencers will ALWAYS rate other influencers brands high no matter what so they keep that connection and don’t get kicked out of their community. The wheel wasn’t reinvented in this case which we are being sold.

This is exactly the missing part of my makeup routine. I have brown skin anyway, then as a result of using steroid creams for eczema as a child I've been left with strong grey pigmentation marks that I've always been so self-conscious of my entire life. I've stayed away from regular foundation as it only makes my pigmentation look worse. But as soon as you said" you just scribble it on and pat with your finger" I actually cried! Lisa is amazing, however 33 EUR for 0,4 grams it is slightly overwhelming. That would make any normal concealer in volume of 6 grams cost 495 EUR… 😮

@ yes! I have already noticed that twist pencils are mostly under 0,4 grams. I would say then that twist pencils with unnecessary sharpener (basically you can sharpen it if needed in over the skin) is not the best idea for concealer. Time and consumer repurchases will show if the product has great value for money. So far a lot of people are slightly surprised on how little actual concealer is inside 😮 I bet the quality is amazing as everything I have tried so far.

@LisaEldridge I appreciate the time and honesty about the details. This was a product I was fairly interested in because I love spot concealing after I'm finished with my makeup. However, when comparing for example to nars soft matte, that product has a similar intent, comes in a pot (which you can use all the way up, and doesn't loose the product stuck inside the twister for stability) and it comes with almost 7g of product for less than $34. While I understand your loyal customer base from a higher income might not mind the price, there are a lot of people that may not be able to buy every release, but have been waiting for that one product that would be their holy grail. It honestly kinda feels like a slap in the face, and makes the brand appear to us as competely out of touch, just like hourglass and patrick ta with their eyeshadows

I bought them based on the makeover video you did of an older lady with a blemish on her cheek. After just one use I had to 'turn the pencil' and I instantly knew how quick it would run out. I think the price of the product is too high. It is just 0,4 gram of product while Laura Mercier secret camouflage is 4,92 gram of product. I think 33 euro price point is waaay to high for tiny amount of product. The only "innovation" is the facto that this a pencil ( precision) but the same precision you can easely achieve with a small pencil brush just like Lisa tought us for years. I love the chanel I follow it for many years and love it but I must admin this launch is a bit dissapointing. I was hoping for something better when it comes to concealer from Lisa.

As someone who suffers from acne, this is a makeup niche that seriously needs filling. So thank you for that! And because I get the feeling that you're going to be using this description a lot in the near future, as a professional cartographer, I thought I'd help with some of the terminology, if you want to use it. The words you're looking for are elevation change on a hill or mountain, the lines are called elevation contour lines, and the color change is a color gradient - where the high areas are lighter & the lower areas are darker. A map with all of these things are typically called topographic maps. The change in elevation is called topology, while the change in depth in a lake or ocean is called bathymetry (not that it matters; just completing the thought).

Nearly all self-propelling and mechanical long-wear, waterproof slim stick pencils (namely eye pencils at the moment...as this format in a concealer is a new concept) contain 0.3 grams of product (For example: Hourglass Voyeur Waterproof Gel Eyeliner 0.32g ; Anastasia Beverly Hills Darkside Waterproof Gel Pencils 0.3g; Sephora 12 Hour Retractable Eyeliner Pencil 0.3g ; Diorshow Stylo 24h Gel Eyeliner 0.3g). Wooden pencils however, which are not twist up or self-propelling, contain on average 1.8g if they are slim and between 2g to 3g if they are chubbier. Many of the wooden stick formats are not waterproof and as long-wearing as the air tight self-propelling slim pencils. In other words, you can't compare 'like for like' when it comes to liquid versus solid, versus cream formulas. Another example would be that pretty much all liquid foundation bottles contain 30g, whereas cushion foundations are around 14g and solid cream foundations around 10g-ish... It doesn't mean that the 10 grams of solid cream foundation will not last as long as the 30g of liquid - it will most likely last much longer as less is required. I created this product for micro concealing any blemishes or shadows that your foundation or skin tint don't cover, it's not intended to be used all over the face. It's designed to be scribbled lightly over the blemish and is self setting. My team and I have been using it this way daily for the past six months and have found that it lasts 6-8 months. At £27 for 0.4g, the price is really disappointing. Two things can be true: I can love Lisa’s brand AND also do the maths to see how expensive this product is.

Yes, sadly, the cost and product amount is a huge deterrent for me despite loving Lisa Eldridge products. For something that will likely need repurchased due to finishing quickly it really is extortionate, even as a luxury brand

I love this but 27£ for 0.4 grams is almost as pricey as 24k gold. It seems excessive to me
