Kevin I am in the hospital recovering from open heart surgery. I’m doing well after a triple bypass 8 days ago. I am so grateful for you and your videos. I’ve saved this and 5 days ago video. I love your recipes and when I get home I’ll ask my husband and daughter to cook them. The hospital fair is so unpalatable. I think I get to go home tomorrow. I am planning to set up a window garden in my apartment with basil, oregano, mint, thyme, rosemary, tarragon, cilantro, chives, arugula (mainly for my cat - she's obsessed with the stuff) and Thai basil - in other words, anything I can get my hands on.

Avery looks beautiful posing with the lovely petunia plant. I plan to plant basil, thyme, and sage for sure. Along with some of those cocktail size tomatoes. Kevin, I want to plant a pumpkin plant, sunflowers, and maybe even some of that jewel toned corn, on the back corner of my property. Like a mini farm, or Hippie style.👩🏻‍🌾🌻 Crazy , huh? I think I noticed that you talk to your plants. I like it as I do this also. Excellent vacuuming of the winding staircase. The cats overseeing as though you work for them. My cats watch me work too. Breakfast dish looked quite satisfying. I try to lay off the pasta, but would make the lemon fettuccini if I fall of the wagon. Perfect comfort/pick-me-up food accompanied by a nice goblet of Sauvignon Blanc. That Josh brand is quite tasty. I enjoy seeing you dining alfresco in your garden terrace. Alfredo Alfresco! I don’t envy your chore of vacuuming the stairs-it makes me tired just thinking about doing this. Your cats seem to love to lounge on your stairs, so I know you must vacuum them frequently. I've been having issues with chronic pain since February. I can't garden as I'd like. In fact my front garden is full of nettles and I'm embarrassed that it's overgrown. My son is going to work on it for me for mother's day. Watching you in your garden makes me happy because you make it seem like we are sharing things with you. I’m also in zone 6 for planting. I have a porch garden with herbs in containers. Rosemary, basil, thyme and parsley. I also have some flowers in hanging baskets. It’s a small space but very cheerful.

Kevin... I've been thinking. I have an idea as to how we can spend a great afternoon together. I recently took a wicker picnic basket out of storage...one that has strapped in plates, cutlery, napkins, a blanket, and all the other matching necessities one would need (right out of Great Gatsby). I prepared various dishes in advance...cold pasta salad, sausage rolls, a relish tray, some seafood with sauce, egg salad, and of course, some wine, and packed it up for an afternoon in the park. I thought it would be a nice episode if you prepared a picnic with all of Lizeth's favourites and then took us along...either on your own property, or an actual off-site location near a waterway or some such place. Of course, I'd like the credit for having suggested such an episode, and you and Lizeth can enjoy the picnic. What could be better than that?

Zone 10a Texas Gulf Coast. Yes, harvesting tomatoes, cucs, yellow squash, asparagus. Just little amounts but things are growing crazy. My herbs are slow but growing well. I also have lots of onions and potatoes. I'm harvesting spring onions when I want to use them. Oh, those petunias are gorgeous - yum purple. Delightful video.

It was amazing to see how quickly everything became so green. Last week the trees were just beginning to show their soft green leaves. Then, almost over night they burst into full leaf. The fruit trees added their pastel colors. Spring is here! I am planting purple basel, white dill and other herbs for bouquet fillers. I truly appreciate you.
