Hey Kevin Dominic here, I am a 59 year old Italian who has been cooking since I was nine; with a Sicilian grand mother who lived around the corner in the neighborhood. Growing up I always hung around a much older crowd, their been there done that stories gave me an edge on the peers of my day. I also LOVED the 30's 40's music as well as the classical and easy--listening music; also a tremendous love for antiques! Your friendly welcoming videos are a relaxing treat and You have this can not help but like, personality! Your soothing voice I can tell you makes watching extremely relaxing, after 38 years in retail I worked in a Catholic senior living facility. I was an activities coordinator, responsible for activity planning and if I was still there your videos would definitely be on my weekly plans for the seniors. the grounds and garden times too, they would have loved! I think it is also neat that fresh flowers are a must each time for a setting in each show; it adds a touch of class. I must say as well, you would make a good instructor, oh and by the way I DO have a slicing mandolin my mother Rose, God rest her soul got me a year or so before she passed in 2012; they are nice. Please do not change, I do also have to mention my sister Michele she lives in the house next door to me; she adores you and she'll stop over for a tea or coffee and always ask me if I have seen our latest friends video. = ) May God Bless you and continue to give you and your loved ones health, happiness, and continued success in everything and May the Blessed Mother wrap you in her mantle. Oh my God, you are living in the most exquisite world!!! Those peonies are absolutely huge and I can't believe you have those little white flowers in your garden! The flower arrangement is absolutely luxurious! Most of the nation is baking in intense, overwhelming heat and it's so delightful to hear that you have to warm up your coffee because it's chilly! I must tell you, Kevin, that you inspired me to clean the walls and polish everything and dust everything and wash everything from floor to ceiling in my entire home. Mr. Potato Head! What a memory. I'm 65 and remember getting one for Christmas one year. As a child, it was my job to set the table and put on some bread as well as butter. I'm from a Norwegian family, and it seems this is a very common thing. If we were lucky, Mom made baking powder biscuits. Your voice is very relaxing as well as stirring wonderful memories from home. I have too much to say, I hope I don’t leave anything out. Firstly, I always love to see precious Avery, and saw got to see with ample opportunity in this vid! Then, the salad with the fresh radishes, and the absolutely incredible dressing was just down my alley! The peonie arrangement was so summer like and beautiful. Lastly, the sausage sir fry was over the top, and I cannot wait to make this healthy, and I imagine, very tasty dish! Thank you Kevin. I know Mr. Fox looks forward to every dish. I got a mandolin from Walmart. It works very well. No matter how careful you think you are being, after a couple of slices, use the tool provided to hold the vegetable/fruit onto the mandolin as you go back and forth. It WILL slice a chunk of your thumb off. Don't ask how I know.

I'm thinking about bringing yogurt, fresh berries, and granola up to the lake, for an easy, healthy breakfast.(Instead of the usual two thousand calorie Lumber Jack breakfast) Looks delicious. The perogies with kielbasa and cabbage also looks amazing and delicious. Like a food adventure to eastern Europe somewhere. Bavarian perhaps. Fun. Accompanied by a nice goblet of Chardonnay. Oxo Good Grips makes a nice mandolin. They make two sizes, large and small. I have both and use the small one for quick small tasks. If the task calls for larger amounts then I turn to the larger unit to get the job done right. Thank you for the post.

We are having a heatwave here in Middle Tennessee so cold brew coffee sounds delicious! I am on my way to physical therapy. I had back surgery on 1/24 and was not allowed to do much for 3+ months. My gardening is limited to potted plants this year. Although I live in a condo I usually grow tomatoes and a few other things. Sorry about the rain. Take care❤
