1:40 till 2:45 gives me the chills. Currently performing this show in my town, opening night is in 2 days. We have our own orchestra and everything. The emsemble and I sit back stage watching a monitor of the conductor leading up to it. Nothing quite like it.

The song is “A Change in Me” written when Toni Braxton was to perform the role of Belle. Susan Egan does a beautiful job of it on her album “So Far” and there is already a recording of it posted on You Tube.

As beautiful as this song and this moment are, I can't help but think, the entire movie/musical, is about being different, and looking past physical appearances, and then at the end, they turn The Beast, and the staff, human again. Doesn't that kind of defeat the whole moral of the story?

For me, the only person who can do Belle as well as Paige O’Hara is Susan Egan. Emilie de Ravin’s good in OUAT but these two will always be the best. As for Emma Watson....meh! 😐
