Aww...such a sad scene, but I've learned from my brother that all Disney movies have a happy ending. When I watched Tangled, it's been a long time since I've last seen a Disney movie, so I forgot that Disney have happy endings.

Not because it's difficult to put that makeup, the production is to good that it would be a reason. The mask is easier to take of in the battle scene.
