Loved your video and I get what you mean about the beauty of the 16 pan. It's the same with all the 16 pans compared to the 42 pans. However, the 42 pan's extended colours and great price make them a must buy.

The 16 palette looks like a really good mix for me, although that small all matte (I think it's all matte?) looks like a good one too. The swatches baffle me. Whenever they have a big palette, they seem to just go with a tiny portion of swatches. I think it was 11 out of the 42 for this one. It's so weird to not market it better. I'd like to know what the other 31 look like too, lol.

@@teresamulhernYou're a girl after my own heart! I like the portability and colour stories of the 16 pan palettes but I love the sit down creativity inducing 42 pan palette. I always feel like an artist ready to come up with a masterpiece when I use the 42 pan palette.

Even their own photos of swatches and of the palettes are under different lighting and are so inconsistent… I think I’ll need to see much better swatches before I pull the trigger

Omg, boring AF imo 😴 If you have the Fiery & the Neutral you have these shades 🤷🏾 Looks like they've given up on their excellent, beautifully curated 20 pan colour stories - which is a real shame 🤦🏾

Angel - you are 100% right here - it's like a middle ground between the fiery and the neutral for sure! I'd love more colour from them... but... what more could they do at this point? They've kind of done it all???? I did end up picking this up... jut because I'm a disgusting completionist... but it's a bit meh

16pan is probably the one that has the superior color curation. Massive palettes aren't for me, I'd never use them enough before expiry. I suppose those who think Autumn = Fall = Must have burgundy and (pumpkin) spice shades would really like this release. It's alright, but not enticing me to buy.
