Dear sweet Jenny and Jerry…. I live in southwest Kentucky and for the last 48 hours was glued to the radar… praying against those horrible red cells. The tornadoes…. Massive rain… hail… flash flooding…the storms just kept coming!! But…. God is good. He will help you through this time of clean-up and repair and SOMETHING GOOD will come of this. Stay encouraged even though circumstances say otherwise. Don’t let this rob your joy and peace! I say this from experience…we had major destruction to a home from a tornado and we were devastated… but God protected and provided. I know you have the wedding soon and you REALLY didn’t need this to deal with… but it will be ok. Lots of prayers going up for you guys 🙏❤️

I'm so very sorry for the catastrophic results of the storms! We also had more tree damage & several big ones came down from our property onto our back neighbors property! The damage at our new house is just awful & the lawns look like bombs have been dropped on them! It's crazy how many storms we've had since March! I can't imagine the devastating damage that you guys at Creekside Nurseries are having to deal with! That rushing water looked really scary! I'm sorry for the loss of the stock, etc. that you're having to deal with. We had a hail storm blow through my town on Wednesday and most of my plants were shredded by the wind and hail. I am feeling only a fraction of the loss that you have just witnessed. Mother Nature can be wicked at times. But your amazing family and staff will salvage what you can and I am sure your nursery and home grounds will rebound.

We are just East of you and just got power back. Lots of trees down in our area as well...neighbors are helping neighbors with the massive clean up. It made me cry watching the end of this video. I am so sorry for the deviation to the nursery yesterday. My warm thoughts of hope and rejuvenation go out to you. I have been watching you for the past 18 months and have learned so much from you and Jim Putnam and my zone 8a garden is coming together. As you always say, "there is grace in gardening." They, whoever they are always say, when one door closes somewhere a window opens. Maybe you can bill the county for helping to stabilize and beautify the creek downstream or at least a tax break for it.

Jenny and Jerry...My heart breaks for you. But I know God is faithful to his people and good will come from this. We can't see it in the moment but He knows the big picture. Your place is so beautiful and it will be again. We had a tornado pass right over our home in March of last year. We lost seven large trees but God protected us and our home. The silver lining from the loss of the trees was it opened up a beautiful view across pastures that the trees had blocked before. We will be praying for recovery. I think it's amazing that you are going to be open so soon after such a storm!
