you could pull the backround a bit so it wont be so wrinkled but overall great!

Nice pictures except for the background wrinkles. You could have also step forward a foot or two and lowered the power of the light to get pretty much a black background.

Hey Jessica love how you seem to create great photos so effortlessly. I understand how hard it is to do so much yourself . Doing KZbin is tough, I have so many personal friends who think it's so easy, they just don't realise how time consuming the whole process can be . Great video, amazing photos and alway so enjoyable. I think she's using a 22" mola demi dish with a Einstein strobe. Its looks like a one light set up with a white reflector.

Keep up the great work. The videos are great. You're a busy person and shoot there are tons of people out here with millions of subscribers with waaay worse video editing that this. And this isn't even bad. Not sure what you should do but keep doing you. We come here to watch you and not the video editing. One love.

Like lots of people have mentioned what caught my attention was the background,I'm certain you will correct this, as for the rest your photos are beautiful.Keep your videos as they are.

with rare exception, a beauty dish only works well from chest/neck to top of head. The light fall off, when they are used right, is too great to do full body.

I like that your videos aren't "polished."I find it irritating when someone shows a tutorial of a photo shoot and it runs like a well-rehearsed movie. For those of you who attend workshops, you know it's never that way and if a pro is honest, he or she will tell you that any photo shoot short of headshots are quite lengthy. Great work Jessica. Keep these videos coming and don't change them to the fake unprofessional looking ones.

When you look at the fashion editorials (not family portraits or commercials) in general, notice that only rarely are the models smiling. Only slightly opened mouths. So it shouldn't be that big of a problem ;-).
@markharris57718 жыл бұрын
How you choose to edit your own video is entirely up to you, those who have watched your videos have watched you grow. There is a world of difference between constructive critics my and just plain criticism. Constructively though your lighting is very masculine' with the level of hardness, and takes away from the model's beauty. Don't be afraid of bringing your lighting, including reflectors, closer to the model. It gives a much softer 'wrap around light'. It make also be worth investing in a large octagon box as this easily gives the best light for ladies, especially if used in conjunction with your beauty dish. Also you can turn it slightly towards the camera making your backdrop very dark and all creases disappear. On a professional, rather than photography level, try not to get over giddy with your models, in the UK we are responsible for any damage and I've seen insurance payments triple after damage claims.
