Garnier Fructis is underrated. It’s my go-to affordable option that keeps the frizz under control and smells great. Lots of silicones which are actually great for long-term moisture and hydration. Just have to use a clarifying shampoo every now and then if you’re concerned about build up but it’s nbd.

The Garnier color shield shampoo is so good. Still has sulfates, but it doesn’t strip my color. I used to use the herbal essence “color me happy”. Also a hood and cheap option

TJ Maxx has good hand soaps. Tree Hut body scrubs are the best!

Ogx maui moisture and ion are all in the 5ish 7ish mark and so much better thn garnier.... i get a 33oz bottle of ion shampoo for $17 ( they do hav a sm/normal size bottle for around 7$) i hav bright red coloured hair and thats what i use it doesnt fade my hair or make it crispy .... if i wanna be super lazy the conditioner is enough tht i dont even have to use a leave in.... i love the smell of garnier shampoo but i can really only use that to get chlorine out of my hair and intensionally fade my hair to mix with bleach or color remover Also the tree hut scrubs are cheeper at target and still go on sale just so you know

I’m sorry but please don’t listen to random peoples or hair dressers advice about hair care. If you want real scientifically proven advice listen to cosmetic chemist or trichologists. Hair dressers and people are fed lies and hair dressers are not taught science and what certain ingredients do. They are literally taught marketing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any drugstore product at all except for the ones that green wash and are “natural” and I say this because they boast about being sulfate and silicone free. These “natural” products don’t clean your scalp and hair effectively and also don’t protect and condition it the way they should. It is extremely important that you use sulfates for a properly cleaned scalp because build up on the scalp can lead to clogged hair follicles, overgrowth of Malassezia Yeast, pollution and dirt stuck to the build up and oil and all of that eventually leads to hair loss. Having a clean scalp is crucial to having healthy hair. And next it is extremely important that you use silicones in your conditioners and leave ins. There have been MANY scientific studies done about silicone benefits for the hair. It is literally the best protection for your hair against all types of damage. There are modified amino silicones used in most conditioners that are attracted to the negative (damaged) parts of the hair and helps repair them. On a molecular level silicones are lighter weight than oils and do a better job of conditioning and protecting the hair. And just to ease your mind the majority of salon products contain sulfates and silicones because those ingredients work so well! But that doesn’t mean salon products are better lol. there are so many amazing drugstore products out there. Don’t feel shame in using any drugstore products! There absolutely nothing wrong with it! L’Oréal owns pureology, kerastase, redken, Biolage, matrix, L’Oréal Paris and garnier. All of these brands have verrryyyy similar ingredients so you’re getting more bang for your buck with garnier. And if a product works for you, use it! These cosmetic chemist formulating these affordable products for these gigantic companies know what they are doing. These large companies have the capital to do research and development on products and alot of smaller salon companies don’t and a lot of people are realizing that drugstore products work better. L’Oréal has some great products, sauve has some great shampoos and conditioners and Pantene is amazing as well. And I’m just going on science based facts here not opinion so I hope that helps or helps anyone reading!🫶🏼

I certainly don’t want to tell you how to live your life, but I wouldn’t be using makeup wipes as your only makeup removal product. If you check out dermatologists they state the wipes actually don’t remove makeup, rather they move it around. CerVe have great products to take care of your skin and they are drugstore priced.

I only use makeup wipes on my face if I’m in a pinch! Sometimes I’ll do so to get excess mascara off after a shower as well but I double cleanse with a cleansing balm & a face wash 99% of the time! Definitely gets my makeup off waaaay better than makeup wipes! I use makeup wipes for swatches on my hand mostly (which still isn’t often) ☺️
