Love love that! That is beautiful! Another great Jen idea! You should make an idea book for all these things. That could be loads of fun. 💜💜💜

I love it when you add in the artsy details in your albums!! Absolutely beautiful. I think you should do more of the artsy videos to help us non-artsy people😊❤

You are a genius! I’m so glad you like to try new stuff…it encourages us to try along with you. I’m more comfortable with watercolor, but am enjoying the fun with acrylics. You make it easy to follow along.😊❤

Another amazing addition Jen. To flatten the vellum I would keep the album open and place one of the jigs onto the vellum page, then I'd add a bit more weight onto it overnight.

You can try ironing the vellum under another piece of paper. I have a smallmpaper iron, but you can use a regular iron if younhave a no-steam setting. You do need a barrier between the vellum and heat source like a sheet of paper- I saw someone melt their vellum once. And yeah- it is easy to paint these flowers. You made it very easy because you drew the flowers already and all someone has to do is color them in, almost like a coloring book. If they cannot color in an image, that's their problem. Your templates and videos make this whole process so easy.

So beautiful Jen. To be honest it was kind of a struggle for me. First my vellum was too heavy, so it split where I folded at the score. Go to 2nd option. Think, think, think…think I came up with a solution. Next step paint flowers. Mine are too big because I didn’t have the actual background like you used. Oh well….they don’t look too bad. Going to use them. Now my vellum is super wavy. Under some books. Maybe that will help. All in all a really fun process. I enjoy the adventure of trying something new. Thanks for being so creative and giving me beautiful new ideas.

This is beautiful! Have you come across pergamano, or parchment craft, before? If not, it uses a special kind of parchment which looks visually similar to vellum but it has qualities that allow you, when you run something blunt ISH over it, to make white marks on the paper. One of the tools you can buy for it are styluses with balls (various sizes) on the end, and they can be used to sort of stretch the paper down into a soft surface (without breaking it). This has the impact of both creating a visual quality, like you'd draw with a pencil, but also a textural quality, in that you can feel the indentation/bump. The point of all this is to say: something I've seen/done (a very long time ago) is to use those styluses with balls to 'draw' flowers, which you can then colour/paint afterwards. That's something that would be very suited to the technique you demonstrated here, and would look beautiful in your album. 😊
