I really love the new H&M shadows too- the representative at the store told me they use the same lab/manufacturer as MAC now. I also really like their lipsticks (although I wish they had matte shades); my favorite is Brunette Ambition. I definitely recommend checking it out! The powder was the next thing on my list to try; it felt so smooth and light.

Topshop is the same, their make up is virtually identical to Mac because it's made by the same people

They do have matte liquid lipsticks. They dry down fast and last good while and leave a stain after it wears through out the day.

H&M really did an amazing job with the packaging! Everything from the single eyeshadows to the hair products look high-end. I hope there's a store in San Diego that will start carrying the beauty range because driving up to Los Angeles would be such a drag.

H&Ms new nailpolish range is amazing!! the brush and the colours are great! Also one of the lipsticks in the colour "brunette ambition", its like a dark mauvy brown shade, you should check that one out. I love it!

hey Lily, I'm super excited for Snapmas, I love your snapchat stories, they're great! But you could maybe save the story at the end of the day and then put that story on your channel as your volumes video - you wouldn't have to edit it so there wouldn't be much work involved (I think!) and also people without snapchat would be able to see it! I can recommend the H&M nail polishes and I have the single eyeshadow in "ginger snap". Such a good colour-> different browns all over the lid and in the crease and then tap "ginger snap" on to the lid. Looks very autumnal.

H&M have been doing beauty for years just not maybe not so much in the UK. I remember back in the early 90s I bought an amazing body moisturiser & picked up nail polish in Finland. In Nordic countries the range is much larger and varied.

KABS1 Good to know. To be honest I can't even remember shopping at H&M until maybe 7 years ago so no way would I have known if they had makeup in the 90's. But I am always more likely to buy from a drugstore company if they have been around for a while - just to make sure I won't get third degree burns using their product or something ;)

I did a HUGE H&M haul and I can highly recommend the lipsticks, the glosses and lip creams, the powder blushes are so nice and sheer you can't overdo them...really lovely, especially cameo pink. I have 6 of their lippies and they are just so creamy and comfortable.

The H&M cream blush in Cameo Brown is awesome - and I really think you'd like it! I feel like it's a darker version of Tarte Exposed, so still very natural but excellent for autumn. :)

I love the H&M Beauty powder blusher in Brown Sugar - it's a pale nude-pink-brown blush with a very slight sheen and it's amazing for everyday wear! I went back to H&M Beauty yesterday to pick up some more things and got a bronzer, eye crayon, and 2 eyeliner pencils! When I swatched the eyeliner pencils, once they set, I was rubbing them to try and get them off and they didn't budge! They seem super long wearing.

Dry conditioner is amazing when you put on a sweater or sweatshirt and get staticky hair, or if you live in a dry climate (I went to Vegas one December and my hair was static the whole time!) spray on the dry conditioner though and that takes it away... Way better than the bounce dryer sheet hack (which leaves quite an intense smell behind!)

Hi Lily! I really like the H&M texture cream - it works a lot better if you apply a small amount before blow drying rather than after. It still feels sticky on your hands but much less so diluted in your wet hair. Just give a bit of texture to it and svrunchability 👍xxx

I tried the clay mask and the coconut water mask from hm, and they are surprisingly great! They have a huge selection for all the different skin types, and I can't recommend them enough for the price. Although you only get like a tester size, with 2-3 applications inside, I think that is still quite nice considering I found it hard to trust hm to do nice skin care, if that makes sense. But they're awesome!

Try the C.Tilbury with warmer blush and eye-shadow. In my case, wearing a peachy-pink blush w/golden flecks (TheBalm's Hot Mama) w/Lorac's gold or rose gold eye-shadow have allowed this cool-toned pale gal to rock warmer pink and red lipsticks that I would have never found flattering in the past. I even tried a coral yesterday as a lark, and was surprised to find I liked it.

I've tried the H&M nail polish in Regalia and it's quite amazing: one coat is enough and lasts really well, def gonna try other colours. The H&M lippy in Kombucha is a creamy orangy nude that I like, doesn't last for very long though. I second what you said about the Baci Di Dama eye shadow, really like it!

We don't have everything here yet (Texas/USA) but I did pick up one of their nail polishes in a Rose. So good! It applies so well and is very pigmented. The brush is smaller but you get good control. Love it! check them out. They're $5.99 here in the US. No bad.
