You're actually the reason I stopped hyperfocusing on my hooded eyes! When I was a teenager and watched a lot of makeup tutorials, I started noticing that my eyes didn't look like all those online makeup gurus, and I became super insecure about them. I was actually researching surgery for hooded eyes when you posted a video (I think it was an Alison from Pretty Little Liars tutorial lol) where you mentioned how so many gorgeous celebrities have hooded eyes, and that hooded eyes are beautiful too. It was a wakeup call for me at the time, so thank you ❤

I can relate to the first part. I remember trying some looks and for the life of me couldn't figure out why I can't do cat eye liner! Years later I start appreciating my eye shape. Good thing I can do very colorful looks and I don't look too glammed up!

I love your perspective on insecurities and talking about them as well as your advice about altering your face with surgery and injectables, I think it’s really refreshing to hear and could be very encouraging to many especially with how much that sort of stuff seems to be pushed on social media like it’s a casual thing to get done, but it is a serious decision
@JackieWyers7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment 💞 It really is so heavy on social media...I've also seen whole friend groups be influenced into it once on person starts getting filler! so much pressure, hoped this video could reach some people who were on the fence about it.

You're so thoughtful in addressing those issues, well said Jackie! Sadly for a lot of people, getting work done to become "perfect" is like chasing a mirage. And the insecurities remain, or new ones appear... Self-love and self-care are still the best solutions in most cases, and they make life better because they're essential ingredients for happiness.

OMG the comment about scalp oiling- I had the same issue! For years I've heard how good it is so I tried all kinds of different oils and every. single. one. even rosemary oil would cause me to get what i believe was acne in my hairline causing my hair to become super thin. Scalp oiling definitely does not work for everyone! However I have switched to using "teas" instead which have not caused the breakouts - I basically make strong rosemary tea and apply that every day and have no issues with it (just as a rec).

YES! I almost cut that part out because it's a bit TMI but I figured I wasn't the only one lol. I'll have to try the tea💞

@@JackieWyers thank you, you are. I like to use a cold and warm device to cool and warm the eye lids. I also did IPL on my armpits and underlegs twice. I have the same experience as you. Very fast hair growth. Never knew this method you use is more effective. XL Hair I used to improve to my hair follicles. Just google it. It helps to regrowth hair after becoming bald. I experienced alopecia due to stress. I had 8 sessions and very happy. Due to the treatmens I now have more hair than I ever had.

Hi jackie loved the video💗💗 I wanted to ask since I've been considering getting also a nose filler..I've heard that filler can't get dissolved on its own and you need to go and get it dissolved if you want it gon..and your nose tip actually looks very defined and upturned super cute👌🏻🥰 so could it be that when you got it done at first it just was swollen and maybe what had happened is that the swelling has gotten down with time ,and maybe the filler hasn't actually dissolved?
@JackieWyers7 ай бұрын
aw thanks for watching 💞 So a liquid nose job last from a few months to a year. I went one time, so since it's been 10 years it has been absorbed! Initially I did like how it looked right after (there wasn't swelling past a day) but it looked different when the filler migrated downwards a couple months after and that's when I became unhappy with it. Instead of going back in I decided to let it dissolve especially because the migrating can be a bit unpredictable! That being said if it's a small change you really want, it might be a good fit for you. My face has changed in general like my whole face is a bit "bonier" with age so there's a bit more hallow definition to my eyes, nose bridge and cheeks now but that happens as an adult🤣Hope hearing my experience helped!

11:55 this!! And when you said you wanted veneers I am also so glad you didn’t get them, I think your teeth are perfect and I wish I had them lol! I was raised by a very abusive and insecure person that forced me to get lumineers when I was 15. It’s not even been 10 years and I hate them. They’ve chipped and they become discolored with time (I love coffee and curry and occasionally a cigarette so maybe that is why, but I brush several times a day) and there is nothing I can do without paying insane amounts of money to have them replaced. You can’t get them removed because they scrape your enamel off. I wish I could go back to how it was before. I completely agree with you. If anyone here is thinking about it I would seriously advise you not to do it.

You can do the laser even if you did self tanner? I thought you can’t be tanned or even use self tanner when doing IPL
@JackieWyers7 ай бұрын
I'm not sure about laser, but it’s not recommended to use self-tanning products immediately before or after using IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) devices for hair removal. That’s why I’m focusing on my armpits because I don’t usually put self tanner there, but I do everywhere else! The reason is that self-tanners can darken the skin, and this may interfere with the effectiveness of the IPL treatment. I’m still fairly light when I have a tan so I didn’t notice any issues but the skin should always be clean and dry!

I've always shaved but have switched to IPL!💞 My favorite "healthy" deodorant for everyday is Kopari Aluminum-Free Deodorant in the scent Beach. I would consider it I think if I was getting deeper fine lines and it was bothering me or getting in the way of smoother makeup application because I'm so up close to the camera if I'm being honest!!
