I personally think the reference to a certain age (early 30’s, specifically “44”, etc),when /how the skin ages is ridiculous and totally unfounded,whether it’s coming from “BC dermatologist or not”! While that may be true in general, we certainly cannot ignore the genetics/lifestyle factor, which play a HUGE part on how our skin looks. Also chronological vs biological age is a real thing ,and I think that most people don’t pay enough attention to it, and instead just focus on numbers, which can be depressing.Therefore, I think it’s very misleading to claim something like that and make people stress unnecessarily. Live well and your skin will show it🤗

I am 47 and my body fatigue tanked at 46 and I felt older. Once I turned 47, my skin and looks changed and I felt ugly and unsexy. It will happen to all people but women take it the worst. The hair goes too, it dries out and breaks or you lose it.

But I swear, every woman I know in her mid-40s who went through this came out even more amazing on the other side. You're not alone in this - we're all figuring it out together. I’m 45 and I feel the exact same way. And I’ve been focusing on skincare, working out for over 20 years…up to the point of obsession. I haven’t done Botox or fillers but have done lasers a handful of times. But aging trumps everything I’ve done and it sucks.
