FYI. Just want to touch on Beauty’s size really quick. She looks small next to Jr but she is not that small lol! Beauty is a big horse just not a big Clydesdale lol. She is on the smaller size for a Clydesdale. However, the camera is SOOO deceiving sometimes. When Jr stands next to her, especially when he is in front of her she looks small. You have to remember Jr is 6’4” and with boots on even taller! Beauty is right under 17 hands tall.

Clydesdales grow really slowly though so Beauty can still get a little taller even though she´s five. She can grow taller for about one or two more years and after that she will continue to fill out on the sides until eight years or so.

I was wondering what happened with all the shooting ? I’d close that part of the pasture off. Sad because it’s their land but I wouldn’t loose anymore ! I’d high fence it off and possibly make the county pay for some of this !! And I’d sue them to begin with but that’s spilled milk. And I’m glad they are looking forward but she is very young to have a goal of that size. I wished they’d waited a year or two so many things can go wrong that hopefully nothing will but we will see. I’m not getting excited until mid summer

From what I understand- Clydesdale horses grow “slower” in that they will continue to grow through 7-9 years of age - both of you Clydesdale horses are young and really haven’t reach their full potential- they both are beautiful and I am so excited for Beauty’s foaling experience and Oliver’s continued growth in his role at the farm 🎉

@@rosemarygraham2815 what really inspired my interest in horses in general were the Budweiser Clydesdales- the draft horse in my eyes are not only beautiful but their power and grace is captivating - when they run - the earth shakes - literally 😂 Although all horses are beautiful and are of course powerful and graceful- the draft horse has a temperament and intelligence that I think gives them that special something

Perfectly safe to work a mare In foal .. It's important to keep her healthy , she's not actually working the land JR Is very careful with his horses he's kind and gentle . He'll know when to put her off work 😊 .Emeri will make sure of that . Love the gentle approach you guys use ❤

You could see how black Beauty was today with the dust washed off and the overcast day not shining reflections off the sun bleached highlights on her coat. It would be so great if the foal came out in the rarer black color, but any color foal is thrilling to anticipate!

The most common Clydesdale colors are bay (a deep mahogany brown) and brown, though some may be gray, black, or roan (bay with some white hairs). White markings on the face, legs, and sometimes on the body are typical of this breed. PLUS Black ones are rare! I did my research

You always do a great job at explaining what you’re doing and why, as well as making sure everyone understands the horse terminology being thrown around. I’m a commercial electrician, and I can’t tell you how many times, I get to explaining an issue I found to a customer, and they’re looking back at me like I have two heads.😂 It’s easy to forget sometimes when something becomes second nature to you, what you know isn’t common knowledge. Darlin is not having Oliver's baby. Darlin's pregnancy was a purchase surprise (a photo of the sire was posted in HH's last video) with the sire being a beautiful black MFT. Sire's disposition is unknown. Looking forward to seeing Darlin's foal and the color!

So cool that your going to have a little one. I was checking on amazon they have a mini mic comes with 2 mics & it's only 24.99. You should think about getting it , it also has noise reduction. I know that horse plus uses them & they always sound pretty clear. I love that rescue site, & once in awhile they have draft horses.
