Like bakugo said some idiot just said one day what they thought the standard was and now people think that anyone not meeting a specific one is ugly. For some the beauty standard is someone blond and blue eyed. Yet there's people like Anne Hathaway Selena gomez Emma Watson For some its a short petite girl Yet theres Venus williams Karlie Kloss Leslie Jones On top of that the beauty standards change so extremely much SO OFTEN its ridiculous. for example if you see old paintings of woman a lot of them were depicted more curvy and chubby. more rounder because that was the beauty standard more so than someone skinny, then the beauty standard changed to someone whos skinny, not cubby. THEN once again it changed, now you have to be skinny AND curvy. The beauty standard changes and will continue to change, thees no point in following along with it when its not even definite. Don't let an idiotic and inconsistent so called "beauty standard" tell you if you're pretty or not.
