LIGHT & SHADE our Senior Show
We are thrilled to be back on stage again with a packed audience of
friends and family, celebrating the achievements of all the students.
This is our first show since the pandemic and we couldn’t pass it by
without acknowledging the journey we have all been on in the last 2
years. There have certainly been highs and lows, the good and bad,
the LIGHT AND SHADE. Things we used to take for granted, such
as this evening’s celebration have now become much sweeter. We
enjoy and value these occasions more than ever before.
With the Pandemic, Ukraine, Bowel Babe, a new spotlight on mental
health and many more, the title ‘light and shade’ seemed fitting for
tonight. We will showcase dances that epitomise the good times
and the dark times. I’m pleased to say weekly dance classes, shows
and events definitely are on the ‘light’ end of the spectrum. The
whole Just Dance team understands the importance of dance in a
young person’s life; it builds confidence, promotes artistic expression
and develops health and fitness. We are in the privileged position
of being able to pass on our passion for dance to our students and
we are very proud of the effort that all of the dancers have put into
their performances for this evening’s show.
