I would just use the standard type for the part. Clients taking it out may not have an easy time taking the loop with the re-looped hair out! Nice job Beauty!! Love your skills!

With human hair I would make it into a 3/4 wig or half wig or whatever preference with a crotchet wig cap. Less hassle to unloop all that hair to be reused again.

I'm happy to see you attaching an extension to a single section of the three section braid (which is also my own personal technique) it allows for more flexibility to camouflage parts, and anchor braids. The bands seem very large, though. I imagined them being the poly bands. How have they held up over time?

All crochet styles can be removed without cutting by taking down the cornrows. Find the last cornrow you did and take down from there. The crochet will come out easily if you detangle before you start.
