Geez people, it's only hair not their first born child! Lol...it will grow back. Sometimes you just get sick of long hair and are looking for a change. Depends on the Country. Not everyone has a program like Locks for Love etc. Plus some of the programs have very strict rules such as the hair needs to be “Virgin” so no color or Perm etc. but yes, I wholeheartedly agree.❤ Usually when you see the hair being cut into little ponytails, that is a GOOD sign that they are affiliated with one of the Ca Programs for making Wigs. That is something I tell EVERYONE that I know is getting a haircut and their hair is long. They need a minimum of 6” bundles. Not all of the programs care about the “Virgin” hair btw. Spread the word!! Excellent thoughts. MANY people do not know about it!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

In my opinion short hair does not look good on most women. It makes them look older and far, less, feminine. There are very, few exceptions. That butch haircut towards the end of the video, where it was completely shaved off at the sides and back, almost made me cry. Women wore their hair long for centuries up until the 1920s. Long hair on women was considered a sign of beauty and femininity. I’m not saying that a woman has to grow her hair as long as Crystal Gayle’s in order to look good. The chin length bobs are very cute. But, the very short hair doesn’t flatter a lot of us. Just my thoughts.

Having had really long hair from 3 to 40 I found it incredibly hard to get a hairdresser to cut my hair short I would go in for a pixie cut at best get a Bob most times they would only cut to my shoulders in case I regretted it.

Over 50% of these cuts either aged up many of these women to look like they are in their 50s, look like news anchor or "Karen" haircuts, or look like they're straight from 1991. They're also high maintenance as hell to style. Just a reminder to everyone that you can have long hair with shape and style. You don't have to chop it off to get a look.

This is exactly why I avoid going to a salon. They always want to chop my hair off and talk me into it. And I figure they’re specialists (with hair) so maybe they’re right ?? Nope. I always hate it and think it’s much harder to maintain that look than it was when it was long hair. I don’t know why they always want to cut SO much off. If your hair is damaged, then yes. Same experience. My short cut looked fantastic in the salon, especially with full makeup on. But on weekends or just getting up, with hair in every direction, it’s not so great. I have thick and wavy so it doesn’t just lay down easily and smooth. You better want your makeup and earrings on a lot more.

Not everyone looks good in short hair. I’d opt for gradual shortening, a few inches at a time until you know you’ve got the best look for that client. The feathered pixies all looked very good, much edgier than their long hair, but sometimes bobbs can make a woman look very plain, especially when they’re flat on the head and face. If the clients hair is thin sometimes instead of cutting it all off they really need extensions for fullness, then you can decide on the best length. Or even a color change can make a huge difference. But hey, it’s hair, it’ll grow back

Personally I'm a long hair person but some of the short cuts were nice....I just couldn't do them. I need to get up and out of the house quickly in the morning and I just can't see spending tons of time styling my hair.
