You have to remember these are some of the best hairdressers around. They are TOP stylists. They're not your average stylist in a suburb. You can tell by the way they look, by the way they handle the hair and the way they cut and colour. They're artists.

Yeah-----I've long been of the opinion that most hairdressers/stylists simply cut your hair. No one ever styles hair the way they do on these videos. Ive given up and cut my own hair. Have done it on and off for years. At least that way it looks the way I want it to!!!!!

I cut my own, and it´s really cute so I´m told. So tired of hairdressers making a real mess, and charging, to add insult to injury. Then the wait for it to grow out again. Very, very difficult to find a half way good stylist/cutter/colorist. A good hairdresser is an artist. Not many are on that level.

I'm an older woman with longish hair, but it's convenient, depending on your day, to be able to do a "messy bun", smooth bun, French twist, pony tail (high or low), French braid, side braid, 1/2 up--1/2 down in a barrette, or even loose and curly! I wouldn't want the same short hairdo every day (Gemini). And the expense! I can bring my long hair to the front on both sides and trim the ends quite evenly. Guess i save $$$ every year on my hair!

I'm 61 and color and do my bangs and husband cuts my ends . Straight cut . They look good but for the most part the hair is being blowed or messed with. It won't stay like that so it won't look like that. I don't like my hair touching my face or in my eyes. I get asked all the time who cuts my hair and my hair is past my bra strap . I've had hair dressers comment on mine and ask what use. I spend on color about 10 to 15 bucks on color every 2 months . I'm like you . I save lots of money. Use shampoo and conditioner your hair loves . Not pricey stuff. ❤. Love your comments

Probably not, as many of those long locks looked dyed and fried. They typically want “virgin” hair that hasn’t been chemically straightened or bleached/dyed.

Fact is, women often look better with shorter hair as it frames and flatters their face. It often looks more ‘feminine’ but culturally we still think women’s hair should be long. I love watching how stunning they become once they decide to shorten the length.

I don’t quite agree . Women over 50 need some length around the face as it softens the jowls and neck bands and sags . In particular, a pixie cut shows it all and is aging. I’m 72 , I have fluffy layers around my face past my chin and graduating to my shoulders in front . In the back my hair is past my waist . I get compliments from young women a lot !

its not about the lenght,is about visiting hairdresser.If you have long hair you still need visit hairdresser,a lot of that women looked like they have never been there.Hairdresser can make your long hair look beutiful as well.I have been there today and I feel my hair is to short now but I understand it must be after the damage I have done with bleaching it myself.I hope to grow my long hair back.
