I just found your channel and I'm guessing that this video is old (or I don't know?) But I just have to say that this was so helpful! I'm new to mac (just bought my first shadows 2 weeks ago, before I just had a foundation from them and that's it). But everyone has always raved(? Don't know if you spell it that way? I'm Swedish so what do I know!;)) and beauty and makeup-cray as I am I knew I had to try it. I bought like, 17 or 18 (I thought anyway..) shadows at the same time, cause I had saved up my money for it and I happened to be in Denmark in a MAC STORE so I bought it at once cause I already knew the shades I wanted (and of course I want a whole lot more of them now that I'm addicted..). Anyway, I actually bought 15 shadows at the time to fill a palette and when I came home I shopped on the Internet cause there was some shades I couldn't live without...haha! The funny thing is that most of the shadows you just showed, I bought, and that's before I watched this so you picked the right ones or we have the same taste ;) but when I was in Denmark, after selecting shadow after shadow I pointed on a 15-palette and said "oh and this one I want". Of course I meant a palette to now put all my new single eyeshadows in but he who sold it to me must have gotten it all wrong cause when I came back home I noticed that I had paid almost 120$ (around 1000 Swedish crowns) more then the shadows should have cost and when I opened what I thought was an empty palette to put my shadows in I notice that it was a full palette - the cool-tone one that they now sell (you know with 15 shadows in it!) At first I thought I had been tricked when I just looked at the receipt but then I opened the palette and I felt better, haha. There was no turning back cause I was back in Sweden and I'm not able to go to a store here in Sweden either so I accepted the fact that it costed me some more money then I intended..hahaha! But, the shades in that palette was BEAUTIFUL so I used it right away and fell in love with it. It was worth the extra cost! Customize your own palette costs about twice the price so it was a good deal! But I still want to make my own palettes but now I have some (more) base - colors and can focus on more fun colors! :) (although..I already own too many palettes and the majority are basic colors, but this mac one actually had some lilac/pink, glitter, mauve, black, greys and white!) I love lilac/pink/blue so most of my customize palettes have those kinds of colors and very few basic - colors! I got very curious when you said that you have many lilac/red-ish shades so I would really enjoy a video with your whole collection and many tutorials with those colors! :) My comment is suuper long so I hope I didn't bore you with my mac - adventure... haha! Oh and also, do you own Aquadisiac? I'm thinking about buying it! Great channel, I just subscribed!
