The drainage ditch feeds storm water runoff into Little Creek.

@ James Burba. - If I couldn't do a better job than that I wouldn't call myself an 'Excavator' operator. He needs to keep that damn 'tree claw' folded up more and get on with the business of cleaning out the ditch and only use it when absolutely necessary. You could tell he was a 'town employee', - he ran that machine as if he had all the time in the world and wasn't afraid of losing his job. I have an 'excavating business' in the UK and I wouldn't employ him.

I love these kinds of videos bcz they’re very relaxing to watch and focus on. I’m in the middle of packing and moving and my brain needs to be focused on that, but after a few hours of that, I need a break and beaver dam removal is the ticket! lol! A lot of beaver dam removal vids use the free janky KZbin music and as soon as I hear it oh I bale out on them never to return, bcz I can’t stand that kind of crappy music, it ticks me off, and I wondered why anyone would choose that crap? I really love the music you used in this video bcz it makes me forget about the craziness of packing! GOOD JOB!! I love the drone footage too! It’s awesome!

Painfully slow.... He (or she) could have cleared the dam and trees from his original position.. Also... you take the weight off the tracks (bucket on ground) as you steer to avoid excessive wear on tracks, rollers and sprockets.

This guy must be paid by the hour.I seen a lot of drainage canals cleaned, he left more than he removed.He just shuttled back and forth when he was already sitting in a spot to remove more brush and trees. What about the other side ?

You don't know what you are doing, the beaver push mud and sticks up against the dam from the bottom of the pond and you have to dig out of whole thing front of the dam, so the creek channel will be back to normal.

Shame on the town for the deferred maintenance to that drainage ditch. It’s too bad he didn’t finish it all the way to the outlet into the lake. I had a feeling that he hadn’t finished with the 1st dam, he didn’t want release all the water behind the dam at one time. He went back and dug the rest out after the water had gone down some.

Put that bucket in the water and dig all that material still in there. Look at the current where the dam was, still a lot debris. You dig out both sides of the dam first then break the dam. Shit
