Here it is, #6!! This one was a bit of a task. My Go Pro fogged up on me for the first time ever. I was pretty disappointed, but I added in anyway. Figures it happened on the big dam.
Well, that's it for this one. It will be much cooler temperatures from now on.

Holy cow !!!!! That project was one of the, if not THEE biggest dam I have ever seen anyone rip down. I was mesmerized watching it. Couldn’t look away. You just kept going and going ….. Fantastic job ! IMO they should trap those beavers & relocate, because if beavers rebuild there, no one would remove it again.

Hi vgorski, 👋 Thanks! It was a pretty big one. The beavers were trapped prior to the dam being removed. They were last year when I removed it as well. We have a very large 🦫 population here. They just keep moving backing from surrounding areas.

Wow! Those beavers backed up and built a mega-dam! It was wild to watch that whole island of floating grass sneak up on you. I kept thinking, "That wasn't there before, was it?!" 😂

Ce sont les castors qu’il faut contrôler régulièrement par trappage. Mais, c’est intéressant de voir le démantèlement d’un barrage comme pour ceux et celles qui regardent les vidéos des perceuses de comédons!

Can't you give the man a break? I suppose the next video we'll see you knee deep in snow and ice? I've heard that the temperature suddenly drops in Canada, almost overnight? Now that I don't envy you for, too cold and for such a long time.

Hey, Excession. Thank you. Those islands were so heavy! I am glad the others stayed put. Oh, I didn't forget! This on was done on Sept 19th. Time flies. It seems like it was yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised, ❄️ ⛄️ 🎿 ❄️. I usually make it until November 17ish. That seems to be the average day for freezing up around here. But there will be snow sooner than that 🥶. It's not too bad, I would miss it. But a lot less of it would be nice. 😆.

Dumbshlt. The beaver dams cleanse the water, catch silt, provide habitat for fish, birds, reptiles and other mammals. Dams prevent flash flooding, improve the water tables, facilitate ground water storage, slow down erosion. Create beautiful lakes and ponds that can be enjoyed by fishermen, kayakers, bird watchers, ice fishing and fresh water crayfish harvesting.

Dumbshilt, eh? Seems odd to me that you think I don't know all of what you said there. 🤔 Ignorant, actually. This is my job. I am a licensed trapper who is commissioned by our local government to go do this. All cities/towns have engineered drainage systems that can not get blocked. This one in particular crosses many roads and hiways. The reason I was sent to this one is that it was flooding a farm field. It also washed away that bridge in #1. If the two dams downstream were not there, that bridge would still be in use. If this was happening to your home or property, you would want my help too. 🦫 💥 🌊 🌊 🌊
