Thank you do much for sharing not just your work, but the reasons behind why and how you do it. Beavers are very smart natural engineers. Another wonderful video as always. Thank you from North Carolina
@GigiCathyto6Ай бұрын
I think that is the most wood I’ve seen you move before being able to start on the mud. Those beavers used whole trees and limbs and you move them around like they are toothpicks 😮 Great job as always “hero of the farmers and roads “. Saving the soil one dam at a time.
@davidmcleod9892Ай бұрын
Thanks for the hard work for our enjoyment Mantas. You minimise the effort you put in clearing the sticks. Must really get worm in those waders.

It's eye opening to see all thee hard work clearing sticks before you are able to start raking. Thanks for sharing the video.

That was a strange slow motion collapse, there must of been a huge amount of water behind the dam, still it must be very satisfying for you to be doing such a worthwhile work for the environment and community,keep it up and thank you for sharing your views and videos.😊

Very satisfying. I loved the three different angles of the dam breaking. It was also very satisfying when you pulled that last big stick out of the dam. Thank you for sharing the video.❤

Hey, Mantas. Do you keep a record of how many dams you have torn down? It would be very interesting to know. It has to bee in the hundreds. Easily. I also know you unclog culverts and places where water isn't draining very well. Those are interesting also. But, you are the best on KZbin when it comes to taking down dams. By Far! This is one of my very favorite channels. I was surprised to see the dam swing downstream like it did. Wow! But, you got it going and this was another great job! 👌👌👍👍

Pulled down the dam and had bath. LOL Great stuff.
@HylanderSBАй бұрын
Here's an idea: Take an iron digging stick...they're usually about 2 meters long and have a chisel end and a flat end. They're pretty heavy and maybe you can drive one into a dam as a way of creating pathways for the water through the bottom to undermine the whole dam.

A lot of old sticks, didn't see many fresh ones on the dam. Maybe the beaver found another home. Not many dams open sideways like a door but the water moved downstream quickly.

@OnlyFriendsAreAliensАй бұрын
OMG! The beavers are really getting tricky. If you had pulled out that one log that went over the top, the water would have flowed over the top at that one point and saved the rest of the dam. However, upon collapsing that log opened like a door ultimately saving the left flank of the dam. One thing for sure, that was a grandfather beaver dam build. Nice job of knocking it down, but the beave's are reading you as much as you are reading their dams. 🍻👽👽👽😏
@davidturk6170Ай бұрын
Maybe you should bring a small trailer out with you. Load it up with the sticks, and take it to town to sell as kindling!

Question. Does cleaning up one of these beaver dams sometimes cause flooding downstream, like at another beaver dam? Could that flood other fields?
