Beaver Trapping 2019 Episode 1

Good job! I became a hunter this year, first one in my family so I have to learn it all by myself. Came across your channel and learnt beaver trapping from here. I bought 2 conibears and set them up in the weekend (dam break set and one on a run near beaver lodge), to help a friend take care of beavers flooding his forest. Guess what? I got 2 big beavers yesterday from the 2 sets! 100% success rate so far! So excited for some more. Thank you for the videos, you helped me a lot. I don't know about USA, but here beaver skull is a trophy. Maybe you have made a trophy like that? Would be nice to see a video of the process if you have.

Thank you! It sure felt awesome to find that both traps were successful. I messed up the fur for one a bit near the front leg and nose, need more practice. Also, I felt like I need someone to hold some parts during the skinning, any tips?

Love your videos man. I'm doing some nuisance beaver trapping for a guy and got one 47lb beaver so far...small Creek trap wise bastards. I know there's more. Good luck this season. Loved your buck too. Got a nice 3 1/2 yo 10 point last weekend in Illinois.

I do when I'm trapping rats with 110s. They are just a bit of an inconvenience for me.

Lucky you,here in Michigan,the tree huggers have got the regs. so you effectively CAN'T trap rats and mink !!!! Ya have to be six ft. from a house or feeder,once it freezes up ya can't disturb a feeder hut or pushup,ya can't make a bank hole set for mink or coon,it has be in a box or a modified 5 gallon bucket,what a joke !!!!!!
