Interesting video Jeff. Beavercraft seems to cover it all. Like you, having/finding a good local source of wood is always best.👍✌

Yeah, I hope that whoever guy will still work on wood for some time. I got told he's pretty old and soon to retire. That would be the end of me.

Oooch!! That's a bit expensive for ya!! Also, I agree about calling it basswood unless they are importing it. Still, they are probably primarily marketing it to an American consumer.

Yeah indeed. I mean, it's a picky detail and it has to be for marketing.

@@QSOutdoors what is the wood you are using and is it softer then linden? Can't wait for more videos ✌🏻👊🏻🤟🏻
@QSOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@royeagles2302 I am using linden but I'm pretty sure Beavercraft is kindle dried while the wood I have is airdry. Airdry wood is way way softer as it's not "stressed".

Hej Jan, I'll check that at some point then! Thanks for the tips. I bought the wood straight from Beavercraft. Might have been a mistake! haha.

Wow, I just had a look and the sets are like 80 sek cheaper. Thanks a ton for that! I won't make the same mistake again.

If you tell us you don't know the name of your friend, how can we believe the rest of the video ? Who doesn't know the name of their friend ?
@QSOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I know the name of my friend. She bought me wood from a person that her parent knows. Since then I was able to find who the person is though. The wood comes from a small personal business in a small town here in Sweden named Linköping and the business is named Kanevad. They don't sell wood on the other hand, they sell art. They told me they got their wood from Germany and this, I really have no freakin' idea where it's from exactly. I was able to get the wood because of friends of friends. That's it.
