Just finished step 3 to 5. My cuts aren't really clean and aspecially step 5 was rather difficult for me I feel I'm getting somewhere. I have not a lot experience carving but this is the way to learn. I now can carve the first steps without watchin the video, wich makes it a lot more fun. The whole purpose of carving for me is spend less time on youtube, not more. Everytime playback the video and carve can be stressfull. That is why this tutorial is by far the best I found on youtube!! Greetings from the Netherlands!

Congratulations mate u’ve had a very exciting summer by the sounds of things. I’ve been doing a lot of gardening this year to try and make the garden more accessible for my disabled wife and daughter. I have done a few carvings mostly pendants I’ve followed some videos from someone called werewolf whittler I think. I just started carving and im loving these 1 by 2 carves. Great video, although do you think you can show the model half way through like a 360 of it. I keep missing the odd detail that I have to do at the end. I also added some breath holes in the masks for mine by jabbing the knife tip in. Adds a little more to the face I think. :)
