Beavers Destroyed This Forest - Manual Beaver Dam Removal No.130
📝Basic information:
About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

The branches you pull out of dams, do you collect them for secondary purposes like firewood kindling or craft them into other purposes? Or let them decay back into the earth?

What dam? Do you see a dam? I don’t see a dam. Wow you do such a thorough job it’s like it was never there. Just when I think “ok he’s done” you pull something else out of the water. It looks phenomenal 👍🏽👍🏽. Have a great weekend be well and stay safe. 🙏🏽

Hello ;D It is often the case that at the end of the work it is a never-ending story - there are still some remnants of the dam and there is something to be pulled out of the water. Take care my friend 💖💖

It's also easiest to work this way, when the flowing water does most of the work for me and washes away all the accumulated moth from the dam 🦫🦫 Greetings 🙂😃

Good Evening from Western Australia. Sending my best wishes to Kasia. Now you’ve taken half the forest out of the dam 😮what’s left of the trees hopefully the roots will dry out and recover. Excellent removal. Keep well and Gods bless.

Hello Maciej, I always look forward to seeing every new video. You are my most favorite beaver dam remover. I have noticed everyone else who does Beaverdam removal only removes part of it unlike you who removes the entire dam. In other videos, I noticed many of the dams come back and I believe it’s because they don’t remove the entire dam. Your videos you remove everything. With you being the best beaver dam removal, have the beavers ever rebuilt their damn that you have removed? I was also wondering if it would be possible for when your wife Kasia helps you with your work if she would also wave to to the camera like you do at the beginning of the videos like you do 😊. Your friend from a far. Stay healthy and happy

Good morning Wendy 👋🙂 Your words are "honey to my heart" 💖 In Poland we say this when someone tells us very pleasant and warm flattery. That's why I thank you, because such comments always give me a lot of joy, and at the same time it's still hard for me to believe that, as viewers, you have given me such great friendship 😊😊 To answer your questions - yes, beavers have often rebuilt the dam I removed. My contract stipulates that two weeks after the demolition, I go to the same place and check whether the dam has not been rebuilt - if so, I have to remove it again. Fortunately, these dams are usually much smaller and easier to remove. And Kasia is quite reluctant to appear in front of the camera, so I won't encourage her - but you have to take my word that she smiles beautifully 💖 Greetings and stay healthy my friend 👋😊😘

You took care of that beaver dam. But the water level is almost same. Is there another beaver dam downstream that is keeping the flood to go down?
@msTECH86
@msTECH86 Жыл бұрын
Behind me was an overpass whose foundation stopped the water from flowing out. The stream, where a beaver dam has been located for a long time, is simply becoming deeper. Additionally, water was held below by another blockage, which I removed, but it was no longer visible in this recording (the "chest-cam" version will show more here)

maybe a stupid question; but where do those beavers go ??
@msTECH86
@msTECH86 Жыл бұрын
Up or down the stream - the goal of this work is for them to settle in other areas - those uninhabited by people. It's not that I'm harming the beavers - it's just that if I didn't do it, a hunter could always appear there and deal with the matter in a different way. So you have to look at my work from this perspective.

Why not use an excavator to remove the dam 😊
@module79l28
@module79l28 Жыл бұрын
Probably because the accesses were not good and since it's a small dam, it wouldn't be worth it bringing machinery over when it could be easily removed by hand. 🙂
@msTECH86
@msTECH86 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes we do not use an excavator for work because it is unprofitable - I often travel up to 150 kilometers for orders. But in this particular place it was simply impossible to reach it with an excavator (the "chest-cam" version will show the entire place in more detail). We also worked on this stream, a few hundred meters higher, with an excavator (episode no. 116), but most places on this stream were impossible to reach with an excavator.

Hello, don't worry, every opinion is important to me. I'm just looking for a form that will be suitable for KZbin statistics. I'm not a specialist in creating on KZbin and sometimes I try to change something and see what effects it will bring. I thought that such a spoiler might be more interesting for viewers who come to my channel for the first time. I don't know if I'm doing it right or not, but I'm still trying to improve something a little bit. In the future, I plan to add my comments about my work and where I am in some episodes - but I don't know what will come of it. Anyway, I'm just trying to develop this channel as much as I have time for it. Regards and thanks for your comment.

@@msTECH86 thank you for your reply, I am pleased you understood my comment, love both your channels, the longer the unfolding of the Beaver Dam removal the better, I like to see the impact as it reveals the effect it has had on the surrounding area, maybe do a revisit on some of the more dramatic ones and see how the area has revived and how all the material you remove has been absorbed by nature 👍😀🙏
