Regarding Frankenstein... near the end the plot basically becomes about the monster wanting a mate. At first the doc complies, but then terminates the bride, and thus the monster kills Frankenstein's wife in revenge. There is context but admittedly, a very poor analogy on Mr. Vantreesen's part.

Here's the thing about Bella and why Kirsten Stewart acts like her the way she does. Bella actually is pretty fucking boring. Like really boring. Most of the books you spend inside her head and shes just thinking/reacting to what happens around her. When she talks to anyone, Stephanie Meyer doesn't really give her very expressive emotion a lot of the time except for in a few instances such as when Edward's life is threatened near the end of New Moon. If you'd read the books you'd realize that she's actually an amazing actress because that's how Bella really is. Just sayin'. I got into the books cuz I liked how OP the vampires are. The fact that they sparkle is pretty dumb but I let it slide because literally everything else about them is actually really cool.
