The driver doesn't need to be thermaly coupled with the finals that BD style in the middle that sets the bias . There are many amps with the drivers mounted on the Same heatsink with the finals but this does not effect the sound power/quality. This is a Class H amp do i think 2 transistors of the 6 are the class h drivers. Nice video

This looks like a class G/class H amplifier(outer power transistors are different than inner, 35+68V transformer outputs). In that case, outer power transistors are rail switches ;)

@@niklasschmidt6598 class d uses mosfets and output big inductors and doesn't need big heatsinks becouse efficiency of >80%. The t.amp e800 is a class ab with 2 supply voltages becoming class H. Lower volume lover supply voltage

It`s actually quiet a workhorse. By far better than shitty skytec amps for the same Price but they certainly don`t do 1000000000 trillion watts PMPO. Running since 3 Years every weekend for my big ass dual 15 inch subs. Never had any problems. And I once did a power output test on one channel (finding two high power resistors at the same time is hard). It pushed 600W RMS before clipping into one 4ohm load. Impressive!

Yea I'm using the e1500 and I get 2.5k rms out of it in bridge mode and for the price it has been a great amplifier
