We live in a world where it’s okay for teens to be provocative and sexualized on social media (I think young women should be comfortable with their bodies and in their own skin but there’s a line) and where “real” women (meaning of legal age) are considered too old! I love fashion and beauty and often follow beauty and fashion accounts on Instagram for example, and have very quickly hit “unfollow” after seeing a bio and realizing that this person is only 15, 16, etc. no kid, I don’t want to see how you achieved sexy beach waved hair nor your bikini body workout routine, whilst you photograph your 15 yr old body in a tiny bikini... meanwhile society often sees the 30+ crowd as matronly. I love the guy supporting women in the music industry with the insane double standard and saying that kind of abuse is real for men in the sports industry. I pray for kindness and acceptance of all body types from all people because eating disorders kill.
