I remember my Dad coming in my room while jamming the Pantera version of this and really diggin it and I thought it was so cool that Black Sabbath wrote this and a band I loved had done a cover of it. My Dad had this record and hearing this played on his old stereo was so captivating. Moments shared like that through music are something special. Miss ya Dad, but the music you would play still plays on to this day and in those minutes and seconds the memories are so heavy. Thank you Black Sabbath for writing such an amazing song & Thank You Pantera for covering it and keeping the vibe. But most of all Thank You for allowing me and my Dad to share those moments together.

After reading your comment, I can only feel good about you and your experiences with your dad. In my humble opinion, what you say is what life is all about! Cheers to you and your dad! We share the same views! Thanks for sharing with us! Love to you, your dad, to Black Sabbath and everyone else! We keep traveling the Universe!

Got good memories of my old man too. Cool to share those as those of us who were blessed enough to have those experiences with our old man( aside from the rocky relationship)will always cherish the times when WE were on the same page, enjoying the music and actually enjoying each other's company. God Bless yha man..

BS is not just heavy metal riff bashing head banging noise. It's also subtle, groovy, light and dark, psychedelic, progressive, ethereal, bright high and low dark movement of unspoken poetry and orchestration. There's so much in there, and Tony is so underrated. Same with Bill and Geezer, and even Ozzy, he did better singing and evocative delivery on one BS LP than all his solo stuff combined. It was a phenomenon of the time and the state of music.

We sail through endless skies Stars shine like eyes The black night sighs The moon in silver trees Falls down in tears Light of the night The Earth, a purple blaze Of sapphire haze In orbit always While down below the trees Bathed in cool breeze Silver starlight breaks down the night And so we pass on by the crimson eye Of great god Mars As we travel through the universe
