I’m a bit divided about cover. On one hand this may be the greatest of Chinchilla’s performances I’ve seen, she is phenomenal, Ren , well Ren is just Ren, we now expect nothing less but I like the original so much, I’m not sure how I feel about the cover itself.

I always look at ren as A SUPPORTER So when I seen this one I think he planned to let chinchilla take this SHOW you know He back her up beautifully But I noticed that soon as ren speaks crowds go wild so he let the other artist shine My opinion 🙏🏾

I 100% agree, he’s written this cover specifically to enable Chinchilla to absolutely shine and show case the full range of her vocals. He’s very selfless here, this is definitely set up purposefully to put Chinchilla in the full blaze of the spotlight and boy does she seize the moment. It’s an off-the-charts performance for her and Ren engineers it all to make it happen.
